This really is superb. Only suggestions I have would be to increase contrast in the trees, let us see more detail in there.

Beautiful shot! It looks like it's at a ski resort. Is the light the setting sun or is that an artificial light on one of the slopes?

An amazing moment with glorious soft colours love the blues against gold and of course the beams of light. I think your contrast levels are spot on and above all realistic. Compositionally it is excellent the slope of trees adds to the images dynamism. I may have been tempted to make it very fractionally brighter.

Amazing image. Nicely exposed - did you have to do much post processing to expose both the sunrays and the shadows ? Is it a composite of two bracketed exposures ?

Hi Sergey,
I take my hat off in honour of your shot and yourself. Just great handling of the subject. I do not dare to offer any of those maybe this...or maybe that...advices. I come from Ruka/Kuusamo and know the place inside out. You have to visit the place during the summer months and you will see something opposite but once again equally and stunningly beautiful. Green, green, lakes, small streams, big rivers, waterfalls and midnight sun. If interested please get in touch with me through my e-mail and you will be my quest. Will be there in August 2008.
