Paula Grenside

Stunning, Jay. The flood of light,a real lightfall, gives the image a dreamy-surreal atmosphere, and then, that corner of green with red flowers, an extra touch.

Hello Jay
A great photo, mainly I like since the contour of mountains with the light of the sun has been stumped.

I bow to you!!!
Jay, this is outrageous. I am not worthy, but this image is worthyful. There is great separation from fore and background and the paintbrush add bright color to the mix. I like the vertical as well because you can see the stream far below, which is not visible here. I am one who believes in the use of Photo Shop to finish an image that is not quite perfect. Therefore, I find the two white dots of snow on the mountain to the left distracting (small thing). I would clone stamp those suckers out and act like they were never there. Otherwise, I am totally inspired by your art. Glacier park is so beautiful in its own right, you have conveyed its beauty so well.

Fantastic composition and exposure, Jay! Big-time 'Wow' factor. I agree with Mark's suggestion to remove the two tiny white snow patches. Superb work! A 7/7 anonymously. Cheers! Chris

Great vision and timing, Jay. The sun and clouds cooperated beautifully with you here, but credit to you for "seeing" it before it happenened and being ready with the camera to capture this awesome moment.

Thank you all
Thank you all for taking time to comment on this photograph. The light play on this day was fantastic. We too several shots while we were stood there watching the sun light up the valley below us. A vertical version can be found at: The Search Light.

It's almost like one of those fairy tale settings where you wonder,"Is there such a place so mysterious and incredibly beautiful?!" You chose another magnificent spot and patiently waited for the perfect light! Great work Jay! Kind regards, Kim.

heaven's gate!
Found this on front page google image search along with my own version
Wonderful
Easy to say the light is too milky and the flowers not distinct and clear enough as subject
misses the point
because this is Heaven's gate and needs that slightly indistincy dreamy quality
great title
