Good idea to use B/W. I wish the cross was more visible, would show the meaning of "being on top is only half way". Which month of the year was this?

Liskamm

From top of Liskamm to Monte Rosa Hut

Hi Marco,

the mountain is the LISKAMM (4505m) I crossed from West to East last July. It is famous for its long (3hours) and narrow ridge, which makes it one of the very interesting climbings in the Monte Rosa area. From the East summit you see here, we went down to the glacier and up to Monte Rosa H?te, the highest hut in the Alps (4550m). From there we crossed Dufouspitze and Nordend, and then down to Zermatt.

Cheers

Didier

Beautiful

Cheers on a wonderful shot. Unbelievable in B/W - I think it really captures the landscape in all its glory. Didn't know this connected to Zermatt, I was there this past winter and captured some really great photos of the Matterhorn. Love your art.
