Wonderful composition the bright yellow and green combination exudes a feeling of freshness in the fruits one can even observe the sticky milk like fluid oozing out well observed and well taken.
Very nice presentation of the elements, I'm interesting how the greens & orange transformation, love the subtle colors, dear A.K, stunning executed of still life!!! Best regards 7/7
Love the photo - composition, colors, lighting. And I was intrigued by the title "Papita" so I read up on it. These papaya look a little different than our Florida variety. When I Googled "papita," I was directed to web sites that explain the medicinal value of this Indian variety of the fruit. Notably, for indigestion. Good thing to know about for the upcoming holiday gatherings at which I will no doubt consume too much :) So thank you for sharing this for the sheer enjoyment of looking at a professionally done and pleasing photo and for the education in papaya that it led me to. Cheers!
Alberta , you are right. Papita is the Hindi name of Papaya. It has many medicinal properties when eaten ripe or cooked raw. But few precautions are needed. It should not be eaten too much to avoid the adverse effects.
My favourite fruit, and presented so beautifully. The colours are so brilliant. With the raw ones,we Bengalis love peper dalna/plastic chatni, and it is used in the famous Thai salad. One photo has brought back a flood of memories.
Amal, I envy you your ability to catch the nuanced colors in so many of your pictures. This is a simple picture but the variety and depth of color is....delicious!
