Belongs to the Series of a dance called "Red" . The narrative is women in a bar.... a complex choreography creation.
Choreography: Sally- Anne Friedland
Thanks for your thoughts.

So graceful and as if she is laying on the surface of the water surrounded by flowers. Excellent exposures.

Beautiful picture Pnina. Is the dance about women in a bar or is that what you are making your series? I guess the flowers represent the love she is seeking in a bar but has fallen either from to much alcohol or futility in finding a suitable relationship.
Very nice.
Thank you for commenting on my images.

Wonderfully seen, composed, exposed and rendered as usual. For me (I always tell you how I feel about your images) this evokes great sadness... my heart breaks for this young woman who seems fallen among the remnants of flowers and cradles her sadness in her hand. This is a very powerful image for me... not at all unusual for your work!

Thanks
Spencer, umair and Richard!
Kirk, It is a very long and complex dance. The choreographer called it
" RED" and the narrative is about women in a bar, but for me it has the human relationships in it, and I photo the scenes that are connected and reflects hunman life.
David S.It is the best for me when you and others are writting how the photo is affecting their feelings. If it does, I know I have succeeded in transferring mine. So please continue, I'm honored!
Glauco,Joe, Amitai, and Mehmet, thanks as well.

Pnina
A very lovely photo. It does seem restful, serene and a bit melancholic. I think the light is amazing, the distinction from the background as well as from the reflection in the foreground really does make the figure float, as if on a calm sea.

Ditto all the wonderful words above.
But shame on Sally for permitting knee pads to be worn during what looks like a beautiful production. Leg warmers with a bit more padding at the knee would have been a much more aesthetically appealing choice.
Cheers ~

Beautiful and poetic. The light shining on the subject and the reflection it creates are enthralling. The subject shows a delicate vulnerability in her agonizing position that elicits curiosity and sadness. Masterfully rendered Pnina. Bravo!

Thanks
Alberta, it is a very long production, very complex choreography, Emily( the dancer) is a lot on fer knees, and it is needed as protection, she is such a gifted dancer that it is not disturbing while the show go's on.
