Only thing holding me from labeling this one of my favourite landscape shots on this site would be the slightly too-dark sky - is that a product of polarization/heavy ND grad? Looks like it could be lightened somewhat - it appears slightly darker blue than the reflection of it in the patches of rippled water, which would be contrary to nature/physics in that reflecting the sky, the water would absorb some of the light and so be darker in appearance.

Composition, lighting, timing, everything else is beyond superb, and I can only hope one day many years from now to have something like this to my name.

Michael, you brought some amazing material from your trip to S.America, the Fitzroy�s alpenglow you caught here is tremendous!! the surrounding coldness, rounded and soft shapes contrast amazingly well with the granite spires, a photograph masterly executed
