Yes, Andrzej, I gave much thought to this, knowing the "rule" and anticipating this discussion; I shot some as you suggest, which I'm likely to post later. But I processed this first as it just felt compelling to me despite breaking the rule. There are times we can successfully break rules; we'll each have our own opinions on whether this is one of those times. Thanks.

Don't change anything, Tim. It's great! Rules?...Rules say: Red traffic light = stop. Where I live it's a question of personal interpretation... and all is fine :)

Tim,
This is a wonderful photo, so I agree with your presentation and forget the "rule"! I just got the same lens and it was really because of you and Matt Laur's results. It is very sharp but I'm not really used to it. This image is a great example of a perfect use for it!
Best regards,
Dick

Great colours and composition, Tim. I like it "in the middle". But I like, most of all, meet you again after vacations. Best regards from Bilbao.

Tim, I will appear in your defense at your hearing in front of the Rules Of Thirds Commission when the time comes. This one works! I like the hay vortex and the sky it's spinning off. Just so. Great use of that focal length.
