Vrindavan Lila

The cow is our mother for life, supplying us with milk.
In a regular human society bullocks are utilised in hard work of ploughing the fields and providing people with food grains.
The cow and bull deserve the same level of love and care as our own parents.

When we are babies, we drink our mother's milk. When we grow up, Cow becomes our mother for life, supplying us with milk.
Out of her motherly love, she gives so much milk that it is not only enough for her calf, but also leaves plenty for us.

Milk is so wonderful - we can drink it raw, we can cook it down with sugar, we can make chocolate milk shake, we can make curd, cheese, butter, ghee and all kinds of tasty preparations using milk products.
So, where is all of this coming from? - from MOTHER COW's big milk bag.
She gives that milk with so much love. And after that we people want to kill her???
WHY do people want to kill Cow and eat her meet as well? - simply out of greed and ignorance.
To eat one's own mother is a degraded activity, and certainly not any kind of civilised standard for humans.
Such cruelty and ungratefulness leads only to disaster in human society, as we can see today - humanity is suffering from wars, natural disasters, and newer and newer diseases coming up.
This is the law of karma at work - reactions for our actions. We suffer for our misuse of the love and care that God provides for us in the form of mother Cow.

The law of karma states that for taking the life of a cow, one has to take birth as a cow and undergo the same cruelty - for as many births as there are hairs on the cow's body.
For each cow killed, this is the price to be paid.
Who are the killers, the murderers? Everyone involved: those who perform the act of killing, those who buy the meat, those who cook the meat, those who serve the meat to others, and those who eat that meat. All of these are implicated. All are just as guilty.
This is a chain-murder case.

STOP killing cows NOW!

Let us be satisfied with what Mother Cow is giving to us and live in peace.

In the ISKCON Mayapur Goshala (farm), cows and bulls are looked after with great care and love. Community residents, even children, often come to the farm to help take care of our mothers and play with them. Please see the photos.

Is nature 'cruel' when a mountain lion kills a deer for food?

Ananda Kumar , September 25, 2009; 09:18 A.M.

Very nice presentation

Namaste This is very strong presentation and I like many of the shots in this.

To Doug Lauber

Its not the Lion which is killing cows now, but humans for food. Its too shame to kill this mother to eat. I don't know how one can kill such a innocent cow. Anand
