Photographer Biography
Joseph Claice began his photographic career in 1987 in the USMC as a combat still photographer, military occupational skill 4641. During his tour of duty Joseph gained experience in a wide range of photography. Portraiture, event, medical, and documentary to name a few.
Winter 2007 He logged over 2000 self guided miles of Arctic travel via snowmobile, with 800lbs of gear in tow as well as crossed the Yukon river over 30 times. He has also traveled more than 7 miles offshore atop the Arctic icecap. Attending a seal hunt with the Yupik peoples of the Lower Yukon Delta was one of the highlights of last winters trip.
