OK, simplified a bit ... but the big FHA guys ARE BIG BANKS. There are many smaller mortgage companies that use them too but their volume is low in Breckenridge real estate comparison.
Few FHA options = higher closing costs.
higher closing costs = higher profits
Higher profits by big banks gets put into Pol's pockets.
Fannie/Freddie are used by small local banks and local mortgage brokers ... the people you most want to go to.
If you want to get a Breckenridge real estate bad deal try the internet.
Closing costs should be around $2500 per mortgage.

720 is not that great for a credit score 750-800 is more like it for a very responsible consumer,the 600-700 credit score people should not be getting any loans anyway, as they have a poor payback track record. For all of those not familiar with Breckenridge real estate Dave Ramsey, don't take everything he says or promotes as gospel. He has a lot of good, basic ideas but also gives a lot of horrible advice. If you are up to your eyeballs in debt, he will probably Breckenridge real estate help. If you have basic financial sense, look elsewhere. And yet these banks are getting bailouts, and have deposits offshore in order to not pay US taxes.
I wonder how many rich here do this, and still want taxes raised on citizens with their liberal agendas?
