I saw a painting of early Neil Young and loved it. My wife purchased it as a gift and now I see everyday. Very emotional. I have no desire to go to the big concerts, costly & way too many photo restrictions. Therefore I try to help support the local music scene. I love photographing at small venues, no restrictions, flash, cheap, and a dozen or so free pics for each band if they desire. I shoot by instinct and enjoy using one camera one lens. I shot film for over 20 years but love digital for speed and the ability to give results within hours. Everyone is looking for the perfect carryall camera and I do believe I found it: A $300.00 Panasonic DMC FZ10 then the FZ40 with Leica Elmarit zoom lens.12.5MG and 80 ISO, I honestly feel can match any high dollar Canon or Nikon. THANKS TO THE TRUANT SCHOLARS FOR BEING THE FIRST BAND.
