I'm not a landscape photographer, but I'm often
shooting spectacular landscapes with people interacting with those
landscapes. It's two-fold. What is your subject or person going to be
doing. What is the landscape going to provide in terms of a

Wedding Photographer, Branding/Marketing Expert
There is no one big secret to success. Every little
thing you do, you do as though it were the one big thing. If you pay
attention to all the little details and treat them as if they're as

One of the things that hit me early on, you have to
know as a photographer what you want to say--too many photographers

I tend to gravitate towards people and moments that

clean and straight forward with classic elements and an unexpected
twist. I am really drawn to action and love capturing the moment,
whatever the moment is.

Editorial and Documentary Photographer
Experience is so important with photography. There's
a lot of stress involved with being a documentary photographer. All of
the projects have been self-inspired. Much of the work has to do with
making contacts and talking people into something they may not want to
do...

Documentary Photographer and Writer Team
Our business is constantly changing. If it doesn't,
we are out of business. A big part of our income comes from stock
photos. The rest is from editorial assignments and a small bit comes
from corporate shoots, for companies, which I feel are not too evil.
