Calibrating a Sekonic L-758DR

I am trying to calibrate my Sekonic meter and I am having some trouble. Every time I try to calibrated for flash I get a broken up looking curve. I have tried lowing the power on the strobes as Sekonic suggests but still get a pretty broken up curve. Any suggestions?
