Also R10 seams to be worked on.

Well, if the S2 is a Texas Leica, maybe Fuji 6x9 lenses will fit ;-)

Martijn, they also announced brand new lenses for the S2 - none of the old SLR lenses have AF and I doubt that they would cover the bigger sensor. I am not even sure that they would fit the new camera or if Leica has not introduced a new mount for the S2.

Thanks for that. I don't really like their typical Leica design (I know it's their 'thing', but some more controls would do good), but I am quite interested in the results of the camera and lenses. I'd bet they would have similar problems as Canon's EF-S lenses not fitting a FF camera, because the mirror will slap against the backside of the lens, right?
