Infrared Conversion at reasonable Rate

Thakur Dalip Singh , Feb 09, 2012; 10:49 a.m.

Recently, I found a site for Infrared Conversion at reasonable Rate =compacts 100/$ DSLR =250/$ with all type of filters upto 830NM. I dont know there quality but it is worth considering.
They claim 250 camera models, free lens calibration, etc. And the cheapest infrared conversion anywhere!
Has any member experince with this company?

Even if you donot use their services for conversion still it is worth to explore this site because it has lot information.
They sell ready to use converted cameras/DSLRs also.from ebay store.
I dont know their quality.

Thanks, Thakurdalip. Good to know, and the eBay store's 100% positive feedback on close to 600 transactions instills confidence.

Thanks for the info. The only thing that's worrying me is that there is no adress information whatsoever on their website. Pricewise they seem to be on the same level as Lifepixel for DSLRs and (much) cheaper for P&S conversion.

Jos, it's probably a one-man operation. The location listed on their eBay store is Raritan, NJ.

I imagine one can contact them for a send-to address for camera modifications.

Thakurdalip, I can't speak for others, but those are sufficient numbers for me to have confidence in a seller. Feedback on eBay is voluntary and (camera) buyers are usually quite fussy; any dissatisfaction is likely to result in neutral or negative feedback on higher value goods.

Thakurdalip,

Please do not attach a photo with every post. That's not the kind of thing we do here.

Please explore the no-words forum or the gallery if you would like to post images.

Sorry and Thanks for Josh Root for advice. I posted it there.
