Al, thank you soo much for your comment and advice. It was useful indeed. I'll try to think about it every time I'll take a photo of a subject. There is one thing though. Ben Goossens has an incredibly creative portfolio, one of the best I have seen on PN, but that goes way far beyond photography, IMHO. It's pure art, I agree, but definitely not my style, not my aim, not my purpose (maybe because - honestly - it goes way far beyond my capabilities). Again, thank you. Your advice will be useful, and it made me think :)

Your comment on Le viex chene (October 11, 2004)in the Impromptus folder gives me hope! I've see many amazingly creative compilations on this site and often assume that the artist just throws it all together with ease. Once you express how much work is put into your artwork it seems to become much more revered. I'm enjoying taking my time perusing through your portfolio and hope that you continue to use your talents and ideas in this most visually entertaining way.

Wow! Your portfolio totally blows me away. Surrealism with hope, wonder and light, but still incredible depth - rather than disturbing as Surrealism sometimes can be (although that plays its own role, I enjoy the wonder more). I have never seen it done so well. Your images are a doorway to access the mythic mind that some of us forget after childhood. The skill is also extroadinary. Your 'straight' photos are just as beautiful. Incredible, I am speechless. I hope you are exhibiting and selling lots of work. If you were selling in Australia I would definately be buying it.

I am really disappointed not to have Your abilities. As I love the surealistic painters like Salvador Dali, Yves Tanguy, Max Ernst and more I never thought about the continuation of this style in photography. But then I found Your portfolio, which impressed me deeply. I hope You found the right way to get Your masterpieces exhibited on famous places, they are worth to be admired by masses of people.

Your surrealistic vision inspires me very much. You have so many ideas and all of them are incarnated in these photos in the best way: professional digital manipulation, very aesthetic, thoughtprovoking and even heartbreacking sometimes... The images give an impression, as if their stories are from good old fairy-tales. Very dreamy. I especially enjoyed the "Impromptus in colour" folder.

I don't exaggerate saying, I'll visit this page again. Thank you for yor work.

Hello Friend!

Well here it is another year is passing away and we are coming into the holidays. I think time starts to go faster as we get older, it was just yesterday I wished my friends Happy Holidays and here it is again the end of a year. The holiday lights are starting to be put on some of the trees here in Dallas, we were out last night and some were lighting the trees. I wish for you all a holiday season with family and friends, after all is said and done all we have is each other.

I want all of you to know just what your comments and ratings on my work means to me, your words are my motivation, my drive to discover, to learn this art that we all love, thank you for taking time and thank you for caring about my works. At the same time thank you for letting us see your world, our lives are so much the same, we all care about our families and friends and we all share the same things, maybe someday our photos will help make for a lasting world peace.
