I always enjoy viewing your images. Your children images always cause me to stop and pause and reminisce... very lovely images, Amanda. I particularly like the baby fingers with the adult hand. Nice work!

amanda,

what a wonderful portfolio. i just commented on a picture of yours and then checked out your photos. i realize i have no right to critique. you are very good and were probably looking for much more professional criticism. i look forward to seeing more of your photos. jason

Amanda

Thanks for looking at Afterthoughts and thanks for the kind comments. Your portfolio has many really great images of children. Each folder tells a wonderful story. "Sometimes It Is All Too Much" is one of my favorites. Best Regards, Howard

I had to come back and comment, again. I sense that you like children (wonder why?). You're developing your own style and this may lead to something... keep it up, lady, and continue to dream (they do come true, you know?). Good show, but I expected as much from you.

David McCracken , February 04, 2004; 11:38 P.M.

Just a guess.....

... do you like children!

Very personal work!

oh my gosh...

Amanda... you've been commenting on my pics.. and I've liked a few of yours that you've put up in critique, so I've commented...

I don't know why this is the first time I've visited your folders...

you've got so much life in your photography!! I love your simple, clean and gentle style.. you capture the beauty of a child so very well...

what I've always hoped to achieve with my "childrens stuff" you've achieved already..

because you have a "simple and clean" style of shooting... and because you capture "nano-seconds" so very well, many "purists" will say "snapshot"... they're wrong.

remember always to please yourself... and go with what YOU love...

you go girl... excellent..

I could spend hrs giving you 7's... hehe..

Anne Geddes II

Amanda you have a touch of magic when shooting kids, similar to Anne Geddes, and kids are the most amazing and wonderful beings to photograph, thanks for making me realise that and will try my hand at it. Thanks for your comments on the wedding photo, would like you to see the rest of the series of 'A South Indian Wedding' in my portfolio and would love to hear your comments :) cheers!

Amanda

Your Mad Max is the best!!! but your children photos are so lovely. I admire your work.

Rebecca Hunt , July 09, 2004; 09:34 P.M.

Amanda Radovic,

I know that in time, you will cherish these memorable images of your children. Of course from you, the photographer, will view these images in a different light to that of a stranger as myself. But this is not necessarily a bad thing, because portraying your children in this different, youthful, and admirable way we are instantly drawn back to our childhood and family memories. You have opened a window and allowed us to view the special moments of your life.

I think perhaps that because you are a great photographer that you could go up one more level, and experiment a little more. Don?t take this the wrong way, because the level your on now is phenomenal, but perhaps what I'm trying to say is that I want to see you expand from what you have shown me with your wonderful portfolio. Be more daring with your images? try making them more unique? inspiring? I don?t know, I can?t explain what I mean? which is frustrating! Hehe, but hey me to rack my brain; if you want to find out more, then feel free to email me.

Amanda Radders , July 29, 2004; 06:25 A.M.

Hi Amanda:

I just love your kid's photos. They all look so happy and engaged in the moment. Take photos of children is so difficult to do, yet you do it so well. Keep up the good work.

Mentor

Wow! I wish I could just take a year of my life and come learn from you! You have great perspectives, and capture just the right moments! Too bad Australia isn't so friendly towards Americans coming to work!

Amanda, your shots consistently show love on both sides of the lens. I'm so impressed with how much life, love, humor (sorry: humour) and truth you manage to get into an image.

I remain, ma'am, your humble admirer-from-afar,

Walter Hinterberger , January 14, 2005; 06:49 A.M.

Amanda, I have only just come across your portfolio ( my loss ! ) I like most of your shots, but your shots of children are something else. You have a great gift here. These photos shine ! Maurik Holtrop , March 06, 2005; 05:07 P.M.

Children.

Hello Amanda,
I love your photos of children. "They" don't always seem to rate children photos very high. I very much appreciate your work.

Steve J Murray , May 31, 2005; 05:18 P.M.

I like your style! Very nice shots of people/children with natural lighting. Nice sensuality too in the shots of adults. Just ran across your folders by chance. I'm putting you in my favorites list.

Amanda Radders , June 20, 2005; 08:17 A.M.
