Good work on some of your portraits and also architecture shots. I like the detail and low saturation, which makes some of the images look like graphics.

Un portofoliu realizat de un FOTOGRAF!!! Spun FOTOGRAF pentru ca intadevar exploatezi in primul rand si foarte bine lumina ceea ce este esential in fotografie, si apoi compozitia si culoarea.Felicitari pentru portofoliu, si pe mai departe!

Multumesc frumos pentru apreciere, conteaza enorm pentru mine sa primesc astfel de comentarii, sunt totusi un membru nou al acestei comunitati si mai ales nou in aceasta lume a fotografiei din care descopar cate un pic in fiecare zi, imi doresc foarte mult sa ma perfectionez in timp pentru ca ceea ce fac imi ofera o incredere deosebita in mine.

Bogdan: Thanks for a decent rating (b/w photo of a boy rolling a toy up a wall)...i find it hard to believe that you just started photography (only a few months with a camera? hmm...)...you have a good eye - and your photos say a lot about your personality...which is a very distinctive quality...when looking at your photos I saw more of you in the photos than the subject itself...very rare to see this in photos...that quality can really work for you.

So, you say you are new...some advice, the rating system on this site is completely subjective (i really think some of the people are retarded)...you will see 5's given to a photo lacking composition, originality, focus, ideas - everything....and 3's given to very well executed photo...the best you can hope for is hooking up with some serious photographers who work you admire and when you want a real critique, ask (not too often though)...I have given lots of critiques (I have never rated a photo because i want people to know what I like and what I don't - and why)...if someone really want to improve, this is what is needed. Keep up the good work! Ken

Gavrus, I could not pick and individual photo to comment on because they are all very good. Your use of light, perspective and focus are great!

I am confused though, you say you only used a camera from 2006 yet you label your pictures with Gavrus Bogdan Photography; is that a business you started already or just the way you label? The quality is certainly professional.

Gabriel Ursache - Ma bucur ca ti-au placut fotografiile mele, ca un hint in general folosesc tehnici destul de rudimentare adica nu am echipamente specializate, totul este artizanal si improvizat si foarte rar mai mult de 2-3 becuri, unul mai puternic principal si unul sau doua mai slabe de umplere (pentru portrete) asta in cazurile in care nu folosesc lumina naturala.

Daca as putea sa pun degetul pe acel lucru care consider ca trebuie imbunatatit continuu si din punctul meu de vedere cel mai important as spune ca este "simtul autocritic", posibilitatea de a aprecia calitatea muncii mele inainte de a posta si a lasa o fotografie spre aprecierea celor din jur, ma refer aici nu numai la membrii PN sau alte comunitati de fotografi ci chiar si la prieteni si la membrii ai familiei mele. Momentan nu pot sa imi dau seama cum va evolua stilul meu in viitor. probabil cand "autocritica" va fi mai puternica decat forta mea creatoare ma voi opri din postat...sper totusi sa nu se intample asta :DDD, iti multumesc pentru gandurile de bine domnule Radu Albu

Asa cum cerul amurgic ramane strivit intre aripi de o pasare pe care ai surprins-o in zbor, asa cum Bucurestiul tau si numai al tau pare a se ridica din mijlocul ruinelor prezentului, asa se aseaza sub prompter si cuvintele mele. Lin, linistit, liber, lizibil... precum se aseaza pozele tale frumoase in memoria mea. Acum ma opresc din scris si prefer sa mai arunc o privire peste portofoliul tau care e precum cerul amurgic strivit intre aripi de o pasare...
