st louis

couldn't access your thread for some reason, i work on towboats in the st louis area and Eads bridge(not sure of the spelling) is nice its just north of the arch, its old and has arches made of tubular steel, it looks good from the river, also lots of barge traffic some of the bigger boats look nice and if you like old brick buildings there are tons of them, and of course the arch and riverfront area are nice at night i always see it from the river but you could probably get a good view from over in east st louis but i wouldn't want to be walking around over there at night just north of the city their are a couple of locks and dams one in the chain of rocks canal and the other near alton usually seagulls there and occasionally pelicans, black capped night herons and great blue herons at the chain of rocks canal and i think you can access the land between the canal and river by car. sorry i don't know much about the city i just see it from the river.

Thank you.

Michael. I noticed that you commented on my sax photo, and asked if it was my horn. First of all, thank you for your comment. To answer your question, no it is not my horn . I took this (and several other photos) in a local music store. If you are interested, check out my portfolio, specifically my "still life" folder, and you will see some other shots of brass instruments in both color and black and white. Thanks again.
