Impressive portfolio. I stopped in Singapore on my way back from Europe this year. However I try to visit every year, for the food. Chicken rice (best at Maxwell) and sucklilng pig at the Summer Pavillion. Thank you for taking the time to look at my pictures. I don't take many modern citiscape pictures but maybe I should. Yours are exceptional. You also have a nice variety of styles.

The shots are made from a little canon camera(IXUS 400). I had two days little stop in your country (dec.2000)and it feel beatiful.

I will definitely try to look you up when I am next in Singapore. No I did not participate in any paragliding. I am actually afraid of heights although I will go up high for a good shot even if it's dangerous and I'm terrified. Keep shooting.

Yes Jiuzhaigou was unbelievably beautiful. I spent 2 full days there and another couple of days in Chengdu in my short trip there. As I went in November most of the red leaves had disappeared but there was still enough colour in the leaves to make effective autumn shots. I plan to go back in October some time in the future, when the colours are at their best, although the place will be absolutely packed with tourists. I have been to quite a few national parks now but JZG is by far the most beautiful.

A very nice and strong portfolio, with a few outstanding images. I know I'll catch hell from some photnetters, but I would suggest that you work a little harder on editing and eliminate some of the weaker images and also those that are repititious. I know some people will rant and rave about sunsets, but without some other interest factor, they are more beautiful in the images the mind conjures up, than they are in a photo. Do yourself a favor, and edit some of them out of the portfolio. This may also be true for some other very similar shots. Please do not misunderstand me. You do have some really good images in your portfolio, and I applaud you for those. Keep up the good work.

about to my new sony camera, am learning to used becouse never had a slr camera I read the directions but y many cases you need practice becouse the automatic focus dont shot if the objective is dark or not is clear, with the other camera dont have this problem. but was my challenge and you see the photos am surprised in many cases with the slr. thanks for your comment best regards Guillermo

Must be providence you dropped by and commented on my bird cage today....here's why: It is the same birdcage and the same feather and in fact you may remember taking that other image (freedom) and adding a frame on it. Well just today I received that picture back from the framers and I had it framed exactly as you had shown me and it's beautiful!! So I wanted to come by your folio today to say thanks again for the beautiful suggestion! It was the first picture of mine I had ever printed and framed and you can take credit for the framing style and matting! It turned out just gorgeous. Amazing what a frame can do to an image! Thank you again Cherlyn! (that picture is still on my portfolio if you don't remember how you framed it)

Thank you for you kind comments on my gallery and my Kookaburra shots in particular. I remember the song you mentioned; we used to sing it as a 3 part round in primary school.

With the addition of the two young ones, we now have an extended family of 5 kookaburras that visit us daily. The youngest first arrived shortly after they could fly (well almost; lots of crash landings on our deck!). I thought you might like to see a photo taken on that first day (not a good shot, but shows how different they looked then; the short beaks and tails have grown now and they only have the remnants of the brown feathers around the neck to identify them).

Hello Friend!

Well here it is another year is passing away and we are coming into the holidays. I think time starts to go faster as we get older, it was just yesterday I wished my friends Happy Holidays and here it is again the end of a year. The holiday lights are starting to be put on some of the trees here in Dallas, we were out last night and some were lighting the trees. I wish for you all a holiday season with family and friends, after all is said and done all we have is each other.

I want all of you to know just what your comments and ratings on my work means to me, your words are my motivation, my drive to discover, to learn this art that we all love, thank you for taking time and thank you for caring about my works. At the same time thank you for letting us see your world, our lives are so much the same, we all care about our families and friends and we all share the same things, maybe someday our photos will help make for a lasting world peace.
