Thank you for your kind comment on my photograph of Cassandra. I love the work you have done with women also. I am particularly interested in the work with tattooed models as I am trying to get a project started here on that subject.

Thank you for your comments on ''Nude in Field''. I had fun doing it (it IS photoshopped), but I know something doesn't fit. From looking at it too long, I had trouble spotting the problems. Your comments helped. I will try to redo it better, because I like the feel of it. Also, I appreciated your portfolio, especially ES-127 and ES-082, the pictures with tatooed model. So thanks! Audrey

As you're interested in constructive criticism, I'd say your work is generally well lit and exposed, but not always well composed, and doesn't have much point beyond displaying pretty girls. It's not a bad rut to be in, but it's a rut. If you want a change of pace, I'd suggest concentrating on the ideas of human functionality and feeling, and trying to produce pictures that show these ideas simply and clearly, are rich and complete, and read well. That's hard, and pretty-and-sexy is unfortunately easy by comparison.
If you leave the boudoir for a while to try this, I think you'll find your work has become graphically stronger and psychologically more dense when you return.

Very lovely human body work, just great done. Regards

For being self taught, you have a very distinctive style which I like a lot. Your style is consistent throughout your portfolio so you Own it. Also, I like your lighting techniques, it's very flattering and yet they are well lit. I can tell you like to show the subjects and not hide them in the stereotypical dark shadows of most boudoir styles.
Your photos are of excellent quality, well lit and nice composition in most.
look forward to seeing more.

In general good job

Balthazar Maisch , November 18, 2010; 08:01 A.M.

I really like the way you talk or/and charm your models

most of the time you achieve to catch a surprising and original expression
because I feel you build a singular mood DURING your shooting.

I think it's the most important weapon for a photographer

Clemson Guy , November 20, 2010; 04:47 P.M.

@Balthazar - Thank you for your nice thoughts. I do try and get the models to relax and not pose. As I often tell them, try and forget that I am here. If that doesn't work, I try to get them to laugh..maybe tell ME a joke, do something not "model like", anything to make it all seem natural. In the end, I completely understand why some models get paid a lot of money. It takes way more than beauty to make a compelling picture from the model's perspective. I believe it is one reason that John Peri is so successful in creating images that I love.

Balthazar Maisch , November 23, 2010; 10:27 A.M.

yes.

It's funny you refered to john perry, because we (john and i) have a mutual (lucky I am) admiration of our works.
you can have sometimes, in your models eyes, more originality, that I ever see anywhere else.
best regards again
