Great portfolio. It makes me happy to feel how simple sight is valuable and successful. Photo is the marvellous time of a glance :-)

But mainly, thanks for the pictures of bluegrass boys, Bill and Doc, that I discovered some 25 years ago, in a tiny bushy european village, when I was a bit low in my soul. It gave me rythm and energy. I listen to their heartbeats very often !

I have a great affinity for animals, birds, and marine wildlife and have viewed many wonderful shots, but yours have an artistic quality that I find missing in most. David, I wanted to comment on one of your photos but I couldn't decide which because you have such a diverse and beautiful selection to choose from. So I thought I'd say it here - you've made a wonderful travelogue of the great Northwest through the big scenes and the little details. Aren't we lucky to have such a wealth of subjects up here. Keep on producing those great pictures and thanks for sharing them.

Great photos! You've really got a diverse collection of images that must span many years!

Here's some bird I.D. help: the "Sparrow?" image is a female Red-winged Blackbird. The white-head-striped bird image that you ask for help for is a White-crowned Sparrow. The chickadee photos are Chestnut-backed Chickadees. The towhee is now called Spotted Towhee (a recent name change). That's all I can remember off the top of my head. I'll have another peek.

OK, a couple of more: the "Yellow-rumped Warbler" is actually a Golden-crowned Sparrow. You also have two photos of a Green Heron in with the American Bittern shots (they're on the right side in my gallery view).

Please understand that I'm not trying to knock the photo quality of your shots--just trying to offer some bird I.D. help. I wish my bird photos were as good!

You have shot every subject dear to my heart and frankly, I have to say, you have produced such awesome images of the same subjects dear to my heart. Hello Friend!

Well here it is another year is passing away and we are coming into the holidays. I think time starts to go faster as we get older, it was just yesterday I wished my friends Happy Holidays and here it is again the end of a year. The holiday lights are starting to be put on some of the trees here in Dallas, we were out last night and some were lighting the trees. I wish for you all a holiday season with family and friends, after all is said and done all we have is each other.

I want all of you to know just what your comments and ratings on my work means to me, your words are my motivation, my drive to discover, to learn this art that we all love, thank you for taking time and thank you for caring about my works. At the same time thank you for letting us see your world, our lives are so much the same, we all care about our families and friends and we all share the same things, maybe someday our photos will help make for a lasting world peace. May you and your family be blessed this season.
