fascinating folio. @ Arash, good call... also I think Kurosawa did a small art film early on, of a blind man experiencing a tree for the first time. There is so much more going on - the sum is greater than the parts. and my final cliche - each photo is a perfect example of less is more. Few portfolios have moved as much as yours Dariusz.

Quite a.. psychiatric style of composition, and a good eye for vague subtleties. I'm not a big fan of b&w (probably because of a very strange sort of 'mediocre elitism' that this style has created, as it became more popular and digitalized), but you manage it from an inner perspective, and narratively turn it into drama.

The square format lends itself to geometric compositions, which you have mastered.

Very nice and stylish protfolio

You have an interesting style to your images, the atmosphere and story which you can read from each image is really interesting as well. Great compositions and tonal range.

I keep coming back to look at all of these. I first saw them on a large (uncalibrated) CRT while at work on a Windows PC. When I came home, I wanted to show them to my wife, but I was even more stunned when I viewed them on my iMac's (software calibrated) LCD. I wasn't able to discern the finer details and broader contrast on the CRT. I love them even more, now.

I have been looking at your portfolio for a long time tonight. Through a glass darkly, as it were, I am both comforted and just a bit frightened by the vastness in your images.

Viewing your portfolio is like sitting on the edge of the world and seeing how obsolete everything, that one has done in the past, has been...

What I want to say is, that these poems, comedies and feelings that you have rendered into a beautiful B&W images, these are so touching that I feel like ditching my own portfolio and trying to create even one such beauty as you have. That would make it worthwhile.

To find the inner peace and poet to produce this kind of art, that is my secret wish - and now I`ve spilled it into this text. :-D

Hello Friend!

Well here it is another year is passing away and we are coming into the holidays. I think time starts to go faster as we get older, it was just yesterday I wished my friends Happy Holidays and here it is again the end of a year. The holiday lights are starting to be put on some of the trees here in Dallas, we were out last night and some were lighting the trees. I wish for you all a holiday season with family and friends, after all is said and done all we have is each other.

I want all of you to know just what your comments and ratings on my work means to me, your words are my motivation, my drive to discover, to learn this art that we all love, thank you for taking time and thank you for caring about my works. At the same time thank you for letting us see your world, our lives are so much the same, we all care about our families and friends and we all share the same things, maybe someday our photos will help make for a lasting world peace. So many ethereal well conceived expertly presented allegories that I dare not focus on a specific work.
I find your images thought provoking and to an extent hypnotic or shall I say visual day dreams? It's rare to find someone who can think and then so clearly demonstrate what the imagination has conceived.

A wonderful vision -- well executed and inspirational. I am most attracted to black and white photographs -- they seem so much more ....well, photographic. Color images of lovely places simply look like post cards to me. Your work is creative, visionary and would be recognized as "your work" if dropped into a collection of a million other images. Being able to recognize the work of a particular photographer from the image is quite an achievement. It means your artistic vision transcends the mere capture of the photons. A most enjoyable journey through your portfolio and worthy of many repeat visits.
