Your photos are great Hector. One thing tho, I checked your photo critiques (all 1200 of them). "Good Picture,excellent Work, congratulations...6/6" seems to be a recurrent theme. Are you using some kind of software to comment on pictures automatically. Photo comments shouldn't be generic like that.

I'm always amazed at photos of hummingbirds. They are so swift and rarely stay in one place long, the patience it takes must be great. Love your images. I've often watched these critters while at my folks place in Oregon but never have attempted to photograph them. I've heard there are some here in Alaska but have yet to see them.

I know that adding a comment to the bottom of the comment list on your portfolio is somewhat futile but I have to do it. Your pictures are truly very good. I like the humming birds the most although "Caida libre" and "Fresh Bite!" also caught my eye as very well done. Congratulations on your work and keep it up.

Although they are not in fact your absolutely best photos, I really got a kick out of the series of shots of house sparrows bathing that can be found in your "Others Birds" folder. That's the silliest thing. Those are some of my most most unfavorite birds too, those little alien invadors in bibs and tuckers. But here I am chuckling away at those pictures. Thanks.

Hello Friend!

Well here it is another year is passing away and we are coming into the holidays. I think time starts to go faster as we get older, it was just yesterday I wished my friends Happy Holidays and here it is again the end of a year. The holiday lights are starting to be put on some of the trees here in Dallas, we were out last night and some were lighting the trees. I wish for you all a holiday season with family and friends, after all is said and done all we have is each other.

I want all of you to know just what your comments and ratings on my work means to me, your words are my motivation, my drive to discover, to learn this art that we all love, thank you for taking time and thank you for caring about my works. Congratulations on your success so far (I read your bio), and I'll look forward to re-visiting your work many times. My husband and I are just starting an interest in birds. By the way, we kept an exchange student from Cordoba, Argentina.....he's like a son to us, and we will visit one day soon. Bravo on your beautiful work!
