Thank you for you thorough visit Henri. Today I had the chance to do the same and I realised how much I have missed. I find it difficult to give specific comments on landscapes apart from telling you how much I like practically everything you have shown so far. Having also read your forum postings on strategies to increase the number of comments/ratings, it just came to my mind that this difficulty may be a general one. Landscape is an extremely demanding domain that only specialists like you can master and comment on in a helpful manner.

I discovered your portfolio after rating one of your pics in the critique forum and it is really something. Absolutely outstanding. You have a lot of creative, interesting ideas. The Venice ones are outstanding (if you see my portfolio, you'll see we had some of the same ideas but your execution is better); you even made an an interesting pictures of the Ponte di Suspiri, which is SO overphotographed. Fireworks, countryside - they are all great. Keep it up.

Henri, thank you for your several comments on my pictures. I'm really honoured of having met your liking, for I consider many of your pictures as clear examples of how a good image should be. I like the colours of your pictures, so vivid, vibrant, and at the same time never disturbing the eye. And your compositive eye is so superb, that watching at your portfolio is a very time comsuming task for me! They are so few the pictures here that you can just watch them once and pass by. My preferred? Well, after what I said about colours, it could sound a little a paradox but, I primarily love "the building in the pubble". Composition:8 Originality:8! It's simply perfect. Finally, I see that you are, as me, an extimator of Venice during winter. Some very great pictures you have there in that folder. As you asked, I'm going to upload many more of mine on the same subject soon, and I will post them to the critique forum. My best regards, Paolo

Henri; you have the magical eye for composition for sure. These are some of the most breath taking photographs that I have seen posted on this forum. I envy you because you are where the great subjects are. What you do with the manipulation of colors is fascinating. Look as though painted in the 1500s. Keep up the great work and offer you prints for sale.

Hello Friend!

Well here it is another year is passing away and we are coming into the holidays. I think time starts to go faster as we get older, it was just yesterday I wished my friends Happy Holidays and here it is again the end of a year. The holiday lights are starting to be put on some of the trees here in Dallas, we were out last night and some were lighting the trees. I wish for you all a holiday season with family and friends, after all is said and done all we have is each other.

I want all of you to know just what your comments and ratings on my work means to me, your words are my motivation, my drive to discover, to learn this art that we all love, thank you for taking time and thank you for caring about my works. At the same time thank you for letting us see your world, our lives are so much the same, we all care about our families and friends and we all share the same things, maybe someday our photos will help make for a lasting world peace. May you and your family be blessed this season.
