Well ... first of all thanks a lot for reading my Bio and thanks for the comment as well. I've been shooting for over a year now, but i got more hooked into this in the last 6 or 7 months. At first it was like shooting everything i see and compare the results, and most photos weren't artistic ... just plain landscapes, plants and animals. I never read any photography tips books or something like that. I folowed my own instincts. And then, a friend asked me if i could do some pics of her and i said "sure". During that photoshoot i realised how hard is it to capture a true emotion in a photograph. You must know your model really well, notice every single detail (i love details) and take that plain portrait photo to another level. So i decided to do portraits, mostly. I started to buy photography magazines, and notice other photographers. Then i realized that this is what i wanna do ... fashion photography. i like challenges, and high fashion photography is all about challenging. You, the model and the public. From soft to edgy, from well defined feminity to androgyny, from innocent to sexy and hot, fashion photography means to be able to stand on that thin line and take chances. And i think in these last 6 months i learned a lot about this, but still i feel like a new-born. Where do i want to go with my photography ? ... hmm ... i think the ultimate reward a photographer can get is that his work is known by the major people. I mean, in fashion industry, is someone sees a photograh and says " oh my this is made by Andrei Chis ... it's his style" then i really have established my goals. And dont let that Bio fool you ... i'm always opened to criticsm. You can only learn and grow from it. I liked the fact that you commented on the artistic part of the picture, not the techical one. I own a Sony Cybershot DSC P-41 point and shoot camera, and until i get a new professional one (which is gonna be like ... ugh, i dont wanna think about it. lol) i'm gonna do my best with that.

Doesn't hurt that you start with beautiful subjects, but what you do with them makes all the difference between banal and original, ordinary and creative.

It's a very very great portfolio. I'm very suprised of it ! I like the colors on your models and the post traitement is "tip top " like a profesional, congratulations ! How you can have it ? In your photo studio you control the light with smoothness. But can i ask you how can do this portraits ? I try it but for the moment i'm in fond of the high-key and abstracts photos, i don't have the secret like your portraits ;)

Isaac you have a distinct signature quality in your portraits, the eyes. They are amazing and so prominent in your work. It's been some time, since I last studied your portfolio. Now, it's even better that last time!

You are indeed a very talentet photographer. Not just because of your (in my eyes) fine lighting. But even more because of the confidence and comfortability so clearly visibel in all of your models.
I unfortunately see SO many pictures of female models, from technicaly almost perfect photographers, but with absolutely NO visible chemistry between model and photographer! It's such a shame!!! We have great forums about technique, but too many on the interpersonal side of things...

It has been a pleasure - and an inspiration - to browse through your fine work.

Isaac - Thank you for commenting on a recent photo of mine. I then in turn checked out your portfolio. It is amazing! Your portrait work is intriguing and your shots really emphasize the beauty of each model. I try to do the same with children. I will continue to watch your portfolio with interest and envy.

I discovered your portfolio hunged up by your (wonderful I think) Jeska nude (or better, not-nude) shot. Some of your shots are very good (you just know that you can do it very well), but a little classic for pose, but I guess that sometimes you have to do it due to the job and it's not so easy to be original 100%. The ones I prefer are, also, Charla (very expressive, funny and sexy all togheter), Ryan and Eddy, Xanthia doll, Calli (portrait with red hairs, simple, but I like above all color tone and red coming out of red in the upper left corner) and your self portrait from above. I'll back for sure!

Hello Friend!

Well here it is another year is passing away and we are coming into the holidays. I think time starts to go faster as we get older, it was just yesterday I wished my friends Happy Holidays and here it is again the end of a year. The holiday lights are starting to be put on some of the trees here in Dallas, we were out last night and some were lighting the trees. I wish for you all a holiday season with family and friends, after all is said and done all we have is each other.

I want all of you to know just what your comments and ratings on my work means to me, your words are my motivation, my drive to discover, to learn this art that we all love, thank you for taking time and thank you for caring about my works. At the same time thank you for letting us see your world, our lives are so much the same, we all care about our families and friends and we all share the same things, maybe someday our photos will help make for a lasting world peace. When I first looked at your images I thought this guy is an assistant working in a major studio with a nice rig. You sure as hell do a lot with a 20D. That only proves "It's not the camera".
