Certainly a wonderful craftsman. While the genre is not what I aspire to, the quality of the photos is indisputably classic.
I see a lot of the fascinating photos here have received several 2s and 3s. I wish there were a way to track the scorers by geographical location. My hypothesis is that most of those who rate photos in this portfolio a 2 or a 3, or even a 4 come from the middle America.
After perusing your portfolio, I felt compelled to leave a comment. It is very refreshing to see that someone has the right idea of what an artistic nude is supposed to be. Most photographers who submit nudes have merely taken a nude woman and put her in some rediculis position or setting. This approach has no relativity to artist nudes. Nudes are supposed to be about the human form. This concept is why females dominate the nude genre. The flowing curves and intricacies of a woman's body are compositional elements that have been studied for centuries.
You have captured what I think are perfect example s of artist nudes. Some would argue that some of your images are more erotic that artistic, but I disagree. The artistic study of the human form by humans is inherently erotic. You cannot have one without the other. Unless your taste is a woman in a freaky pose set in factory or barn.
One of the most amazing portfolios out there, I just love the tones you use. If you have any advice for achieving them, I would love to know, thank you.
That is a fantastic photo Janosch, the rich tones are very sensual. Such a strong element of space in the photo, the head raised high is extremely powerful, as is the deep shadow behind and the detail of the torso. The square frame is filled perfectly with vertical elements and a low camera position giving even more strength to the shot. I think it is one of my favourite nudes on Photo.net because it is so original. I love the natural light and the use of Medium format is wonderful, the exposure is just right for me. I will try something similar with my Fuji 69's and some slow film.

Your portfolio is wonderful! Great use of light and compositions. Your nudes are tasteful, ellegant, thoughtful, and show a real respect for your subjects. (which I see so little of on here) VERY well done!!

I began shooting art nudes recently and during my research I looked at thousands of images and marked all of the images I loved. By far, I have more of your images as inspiration than anyobody else.

After seeing your website we are interested in doing a two page story on you and your nude photographic work.
We'd need 6-8 high resolution samples, a portrait of you and some basic biography and information on your inspirations etc. We will of course include your website details so our readers can view your other material online.
People Magazine in Australia has no affiliation with the American People magazine. We are a nude celebrity magazine that covers a broad range of mediums - TV/Movies, studio shoots, non explicit glamour and paparazzi shots.
Our preferable format for digital images is RGB JPG. Ideally we like our images set to 300dpi and sized to 275mm height (or width for horizontal image). That is the vertical dimension of our magazine so it allows for the possibility that one image, used as main shot, can be enlarged without losing sharpness.

I think its up to the individual to decide how much they want to interact on this web site. Sometimes a "no comment" is more powerful.
