Ciao Enrico! Innanzitutto, grazie per i tuoi commenti e complimenti per il tuo portfolio. Ho una laurea in Scienze Naturali, quindi sono un naturalista. La maggior parte delle foto le ho scattate con una Nikon D50, acquistata meno di un anno fa. Tra pochi giorni, pero', mi arrivera' una Nikon D200. Per quanto riguarda le ottiche, come tele ho utilizzato fino a poco tempo fa lo zoom Sigma 50-500mm f/4-6,3. Di recente ho comprato di seconda mano un AF-S Nikkor 300mm f/2,8D ED, obiettivo strepitoso che utilizzo con dei TC 1.4X e 2X. Le macro le scatto con un Sigma 105 f/2.8 macro. La seconda regola del fotografo naturalista e' saggia, ma in quel caso ci si deve accontentare di una mera fotografia documentaristica. Se si vuole andare oltre occorre pazienza! Cio' significa che, a volte, bisogna accollarsi, per esempio, di andare dietro una libellula per ore, cercando di riprenderla nel migliore dei modi possibili. E' chiaro che il tutto va fatto nel massimo rispetto dell'animale che cerchi di fotografare. D'altra parte, giustamente, non sempre una foto e' realizzabile come vorresti. A quel punto, chi si accontenta... gode! Un saluto.

I saw your "Colostrai Lake" photo on the critique forum and had to come see the rest of your work. I'm very impressed. Your work is quite varied, interesting and artful. Far and away my favorite is "Yellow under the Snow." It's a wonderful composition, and the yellow is perfect for the scene in terms of both hue and saturation. I think many might go for the more traditional red umbrella, and your use of yellow is very refreshing. Overall, I like your work, and I'll be back to check on what you're up to.

Hello Friend!

Well here it is another year is passing away and we are coming into the holidays. I think time starts to go faster as we get older, it was just yesterday I wished my friends Happy Holidays and here it is again the end of a year. The holiday lights are starting to be put on some of the trees here in Dallas, we were out last night and some were lighting the trees. I wish for you all a holiday season with family and friends, after all is said and done all we have is each other.

I want all of you to know just what your comments and ratings on my work means to me, your words are my motivation, my drive to discover, to learn this art that we all love, thank you for taking time and thank you for caring about my works. At the same time thank you for letting us see your world, our lives are so much the same, we all care about our families and friends and we all share the same things, maybe someday our photos will help make for a lasting world peace.
