Many thanks for your kind words on the portfolio. As I am in the process of building this portfolio (only started a few weeks ago to upload and submit for ratings and critiques), I will remove some photos to streamline it and keep "the best" based on PN members feedback. And add new ones of course !

Hi Alberta. Not sure how to translate and understand "photographer hustler" - english is not my native language... though I know what a hustler is. Would you help me ? Regarding the "novice" part, well, what I mean was amateur (a person attached to a particular pursuit, study... someone who pursues something part time, as a hobby or not very seriously, from taste or attachment, without pursuing it professionally. ) , greenhorn, learner, neophyte, newbie, etc... Would "advanced novice" fit better ? Thanks for your above comment anyway. And thank you also to regularly critique and rate my photos, it really helps ! Cheers.

Per your request on one of my photo posts, here's what I meant with my previous post on your portfolio when I called you a "Photographer Hustler" - basically, a con artist :) Someone who claims to have little or no skill (especially as it relates to playing pool or billiards) but in reality is an expert.

And you are. An expert! You cannot claim not to be. Well you can. But then I get to call you a hustler :)

dear Loic, thanks for stopping by and writing such a nice comment. I like the "unedited" look of a lot of your photo's. I'm also one for finding an image rather then process it (I've got a husband who does that for me). Browsing trough your portfolio I noticed you sure like you're bike's. It's funny because we've got so many of them around here most people don't notice them anymore but I really like what you make of them. You sure do travel a lot. Go forth and travel the world and if you're lucky you will discover yourself.

Loic, you really should update your bio. This is hardly the work of a novice or amateur photographer. Thanks for your nice compliment but truth be told, commenting on photo's forces you to think very carefully before you write anything doen so you have to LOOK first. This means I get as much out of it as I give. I do however only comment on photo's that interest me.

As a Greek, I was pleased to see that the blue and white of Myconos and Santorini have not left you uninterested-they are excellent photos. Your approach of people ,is what IMHO sets you apart of the flocking tourists' shots- there are some stunners there! Exploit them! Due to very restricted time, I do not have the luxury of extended or numerous visits to single photos, hence my general view is here. Your portfolio is top notch and what makes it even more impressive to me is you were taught (self?) in film and converted to digital.
