...
hello.
i discover your portfolio after your rating on mine.
I like very much your 'non manipulated' pictures ,because they are really meaningful, that is a rare quality .
Their composition are too very personnal and efficients. you would work the quality of scanning to obtain better tones.
About your manipulated picture, i am not very fond of ( but generally i do not like photomontages) .

i like the manipulated images
unlike the previous commenters, i like the manipulated images you have! there are some very good collages that your imagination worked up to create.
your Landscapes of the southwest are the real mcoy for my tastes.
i have personally been in that area 2x now and yearn to go back.
just to let you know that august 06 will mark the closest the planet mars will come to earth for thousands of years to come! apparantly it will be about the size of the moon approx. around aug.27.
i got this information from my wife.
its availible by a slide show presentation if your interested in it.
regards,evan

Klaus,
Your creativity is very apparent and very positive. You bare your inner soul and thoughts with your work; and that is what a true artist does. Excellent work.
See you around the web....Brian

Southwest Series
Wow, the colors are fantastic. I just love this series. I love southwestern art and photographs. I showed them to my father and he
thought that some of them were painted. Thank you for sharing your gift.

A genuine talent
I've seen many of Klaus' photos on Astromart over the past few years. Obviously his skill at taking astro shots is commendable. However I was taken by his non-astronomy photos as well. Photography is a funny kind of art form. Anyone can hold a camera and push the release to form an image either on film or on the CCD, but the choice of what to shoot and how it is framed and focused is the key. I think that Klaus' eye is quite keen in finding the extraordinary image in the ordinary view. Lovely!

You're really heading to the right place here ...
... there is a power to your imagery that taps right into our earliest sources. It is almost like your astronomy shots are taking us backwards into time, to the time where men signed their pictures in caves with the prints of their hands. All of this is working for me, very powerfully. I'll continue to watch the journey.

Mr. Klaus
Look who you find when surfing the internet. This is from your long lost bud Mr. Bill, Kevin H and Jeff S from Phototron days. Keep up the good work, but don't ever bid 2.5 mil on ebay.
