Hi Mike. Great start to your P-net folio here. Glad to see you posting. Don't take all the silly ratings seriously though, I don't.

I could write praise on each picture there, so here is one that goes for all.

excellent - look forward to more - and please listen to what marc says above - the rating system is flawed at best, silly at worst. it's a good place to share photos, gasp at outrageous talent and comment on the outstanding images that one can find here.

It is awesome that you had the chance to spend a week studying under Galen. His influence shows in your work, but that's not to take anything away from your own talent and vision. You've really captured the beauty of Yading, and Mt.Yangmaiyong, and many other places. And I admire that how you handled many difficult lighting situations since it can get very contrasty and tricky in high-elevations. I also visited your website - again, amazing portfolio. I'm glad you have had a great trip to Asia last year! BTW, it's so coincident that we captured almost the same scenery in "Fall in the Himalaya". Michael some totally staggering work to say the least, in the realms of colourful and commercial work you are truely a major player. Great style and computer treatment, I am left feeling a great sense of granduir and personality with you images that many other photographers lack. The three pictures titled, Michael Anderson (with you standing there), Wo Chi and Light stream are reminiscent of the Slot Canyons in Canyon De Chelly area of Arizona. Interesting. Come and visit.

Breathtaking. . .Magnificent. Ethereal. Magical. I can go on and on but I guess I've made my point. I want to go on photo shoots with you to these magnificent places you seem to find, as a equipment carrier, maid, cook..whatever, just to see a genius at work and to see Mother Nature in her most glorious costumes~
