Hi Rein,

I truly enjoyed viewing your photos here. There are quite a few that made me stop to think, and see things differently than I'm used to. Archetypal Child's House is a favorite, but there are many more that make me dream and wonder. I hope to visit some more as time goes by.

All your pictures are great.

Rein, there are many things which can inspire appreciation for a photographic image. I have visited your portfolios on a number of occasions and I am always taken by the techniques of some, the beauty of others. Studying your portfolio is a complete course in what photography should be.

As the images opened I started a mental list of specific images that I wanted to mention as being really exceptional in my opinion. Very shortly it was evident that the list was going to be much too long to be manageable.

Therefore I would like to comment on an aspect of your photography rather than on your photographs. As much as I enjoy and appreciate your technical accomplishments, the visual beauty and the personal vision demonstrated in your photography, the most impressive thing about your photographs is simply an intelligence that lifts the images well above what is ordinarily seen even from really outstanding photographers. It is a real joy to view your images.
