Thanks William! Yes she is my daughter. I'll add a couple more of her now. She's 2 1/2 and the main occupier of my pixels these days. She occupies much of my heart too.

I have to say I actually enjoy your portfolio, your little ones are stunning, you seem to capture that something special in your photo's. If you don't mind me asking on your glamour section you have the foto black and white with the clothes colour standing out. What did you use, I have photoshop but still have loads to learn.... any suggestion...

Willie, thanks for visiting! For the selective color, I desaturated the picture and used the history brush to paint back the color selectively. There's probably an easier way though. Best regards, Oliver

Thanks for stopping by my site. I went back and looked at the original on that mom baby shot. It doesn't look quite so over sharpened, but it is more so that I would like. Thanks for the heads up, I have not given it to the momma yet. I love your site and need to stop by more often. I didn't realize I left a comment on one of your images, but recognized it when i pulled up the site to leave a comment. I love the radio fly-er.

On your wee ones, do you mostly use natural light? How are you getting the skin tones so perfect? Lastly, I love the softness on you images. They all have critical focus, but they have this soft feel and great depth. Seems very appropriate for the subject matter. Thanks, Laura Larson

I agree about the focal plane on the flowers photo. It was so unexpected I didn't have time to make an adjustment. I wish I could take credit for the idea, but the girls came up with it. That thing in the back was a sad attempt at getting rid of the door handle. Thanks for the feed back. Thank you for taking time out to look at the images. Hi, on the flowers shot my f stop was at 3.5 and shutter 1/800. The iso was 400. If I would have shot at lets say 5.6, maybe I could get 1/250 on shutter speed, would I have been able to get better focus on the girls faces and suspend the flowers? I have a new lens the canon 70-200mm 2.8 L so I am always shooting with that thing wide open, I am kinda blowing it on the critical focus. I'm not even sure I know what I am talking about. Just about the time I figure something out, well, you know that saying the more I learn the less I know or something. Thanks, any effort to understand this message is appreciated. Laura Larson
