Lens
Hey Paul,
I was just wondering where you live? and what lens you use for Macro photography?
also I use An A350 and I'm about to buy an adapter to make some old Nikon film lenses that I have kicking around fit my A350, where did you get your adapter? Let me know thanks, my email is rowe_78@msn.com

Hi Chris, thanks for your post and sorry for the late response! Most of my macro shots are taken with Tamron's adaptall-2 60-300mm. Not the ideal macro lens but definitely the one I have on hand most often when an interesting tiny critter pops up. For adapting Nikon lenses to my A100 I use an AF confirm version from feebay (infinity corrected but loses light by half a stop) or a glassless adapter crafted by PN member Oleksandr Holovachov from a Nikon macro ring and an M42-Maxxum adapter (loses less light but does not allow infinity focus).

Beautiful portfolio Paul
....surprised that hardly anyone has "found" you....can't decide which is my favorite, but I think it might be the "courting terns".....please DO keep experimenting, it is a joy to see.......best wishes......Helga

Hello Paul,
Thank you very much for commenting on one of my pictures!
I particularly enjoyed going through your macro shots. The stick insect is particularly striking! Overall, you've got a lovely gallery here!
Well done!

Nice Portfolio!
I've enjoyed your portfolio! Thanks, Paul for your comment and additional photo on my Sony Alpha thread. The person who got me into photography was my college Biology professor. He loved microscopy and was largely responsible for an electron microscope coming to our college. He also liked the feel of a good metal focusing ring. It must run in the profession!
