This has really inspired me to try some new takes on what may seem so ordinary (tacks, etc). BTW, are you a UM fan as well? Thank you so much for your kind words in my "City of Sails". U've mentioned about your interest in photography opportunities in Auckland, well that depends much upon your interest categories: landscapes, cityscapes, nature or night shots. Auckland is a good place for all of the above, however, if u are obsessed with nature/landscape, perhaps the south island of New Zealand, especially Queenstown/Christchurch, are a must to visit. Wish u have a nice trip and am eager to see your new uploads in here :)

Thank you for such a high rating. I was curious to see why and I see that your opening comment was to ENJOY THE OPPORTUNITY TO CAPTURE AN IMAGE THAT IS "HIDDEN" IN PLAIN SIGHT. Great comment and I can see why. You have a very good eye and the ability to put it into the images you produce. I like your style. I also like the way that you have done your framing, is there a special way of doing this? Hope you can enlighten me with how you do it.

David, after looking at your portfolio i must say that there are some strong, well composed images here. The way that you view things is very unique and beautiful. Hi David, I came here to have a look after I visited a portfolio that belonged to someone who gave us both a low rating and left no comment. I wanted to see your work and was awestruck! Some of my work may deserve low ratings but WOW!! You have some fabulous work here! I hope a couple of 6's and 7's can make up for someone elses blind eye.(or lack of taste!)

What an extraordinary portfolio, your bio says it all. I don't know where I found the words for your Lake Dreams image as I was struck dumb for rather a bit of time on seeing it. In the context of your images and style, which I've looked over more than one since, I'd have to say there's an entire course for the critical eye 'hiding in plain sight' here. So much to learn, thank you very much for sharing.

Hello Friend!

Well here it is another year is passing away and we are coming into the holidays. I think time starts to go faster as we get older, it was just yesterday I wished my friends Happy Holidays and here it is again the end of a year. The holiday lights are starting to be put on some of the trees here in Dallas, we were out last night and some were lighting the trees. I wish for you all a holiday season with family and friends, after all is said and done all we have is each other.

I want all of you to know just what your comments and ratings on my work means to me, your words are my motivation, my drive to discover, to learn this art that we all love, thank you for taking time and thank you for caring about my works. At the same time thank you for letting us see your world, our lives are so much the same, we all care about our families and friends and we all share the same things, maybe someday our photos will help make for a lasting world peace. Wow- what a fantastic portfolio! You have an excellent eye for details, and a wonderful color sense. I love your egg works, the pencils, the abstracts and the just because images in particular, although your whole portfolio is consistantly solid. Many portfolios on p.net suffer from a lack of depth or any evidence of a particular style. Your work has both, which makes it into such a strong statement about how you look at the world.
