I really like your climbing photos Peter; particularly those where you get close in to the action such as your own portrait shot and the girl already commented on. Most other climbing shots on photo.net the climber is set small in the frame with as much emphasis on the landscape as the climber. I much prefer the intensity of the close up. Look forward to your future work.

Hi Peter. I like your shots! I imagine you should soon have a great collection! Ill definitly be back. I have a quick question that you would be able to answer for me. Why do you risk a fall instead of using ropes? I hate to see people on the edge of a cliff without a harness.....makes me nervous. ( I used to climb...harness only) How do you feel about it?

Hi Fiona, This series of shots is about bouldering. When bouldering there are no ropes and typically you don't go higher than 15-20 feet (although sometimes it is much higher, sometimes lower). I rope climb a lot too but there is something simple and pure about bouldering...less gear between you and the experience...less between you and nature. Thanks for visiting. Peter, thanks for the comments on my photos. And now I've discovered yours. I really like the people-centered shots, especially the Mary folder, the sculptural body shots, and the abstracts. How cool to discover someone new.

I like the variety. I find the Dance series very compelling. You capture the energy in the world around in nature, people, and sport.

Hello Friend!

Well here it is another year is passing away and we are coming into the holidays. I think time starts to go faster as we get older, it was just yesterday I wished my friends Happy Holidays and here it is again the end of a year. The holiday lights are starting to be put on some of the trees here in Dallas, we were out last night and some were lighting the trees. I wish for you all a holiday season with family and friends, after all is said and done all we have is each other.

I want all of you to know just what your comments and ratings on my work means to me, your words are my motivation, my drive to discover, to learn this art that we all love, thank you for taking time and thank you for caring about my works. At the same time thank you for letting us see your world, our lives are so much the same, we all care about our families and friends and we all share the same things, maybe someday our photos will help make for a lasting world peace. Dear friend, last Saturday night, my wife and I, had a big incident with our car (head-on collision), and we are alive for miracle: anyway, these not good moments, become also good moments! indeed, in these occasions, we can understand that life is so breakable, for not being happy every day to awaken, drink a coffee, to smile, to make love and other simple things, to meet people and, why not, to do photographs! For doing these things we don?t need a lot of money and power: we need only our life and the capacity for surprise of simple things. I have had a big gift, for this Xmas and the New Year, that is to say, I?m alive! and now, I know, I?ll love more life! My dear friend! I wish to you the same thing, namely, the ability to transform the accidents of life in happiness to live better and to give the proper value to your life and to that of other!
