Stefano Perez Tonella , November 05, 2005; 06:23 A.M.

your style...

your style is excessive and kitsh... but I like it. I think you can grow a lot from a technical point of view, but the ideas you express in these photos are original. You're portfolio is a worth dramatic moment during a photo surfing. Thanks for sharing it.

Hello Phillip

Congratulations on the view numbers. I think your work with colour is fabulous. I can't say what I think of your models. That would be 'R' rated. Thanks for the opportunity to view.

Phillip Marco Vallentin , July 10, 2006; 05:09 P.M.

...and TWO millions!

THIS is what I like about www.photo.net: My work reaches an audience; a large and international audience!

And what is a photographer ( - or any artist for that matter), if nobody studies his work?

Thanks once again, to all who have taken their time to look more closely.

Best regards from Copenhagen,

Marco/

PS: a VERY big and special THANKS to my model Sophie, who has recently decided to pursue annother line of work.

All the best to you Sophie; without you, this wouldn't have happened ;-)

Phillip,

Thank you for the kind words. It has also been a while since I've visited your portfolio but recognized it right away. Very interesting work to say the least. I love your use of color. Some of my images are rather dull.. color is somthing I am slowely going to move into. I think you are also right about connecting with a model. Just becuase someone is technically good and the model very attractive, doesnt mean you'll get a meaningful shot. That intimate connection is everything. You have to know or learn how to capture that in order to get people to take a second glance at your images.

gotta run, best of luck to you in all you do my freind.

take care.

Greg Maszyna , July 02, 2007; 04:28 P.M.

hey Phillip, thanks for your comment and you're welcome :))) i did enjoy watching your photos some time ago and then when i've seen that comment under one of them i just couldn't not to react... i understand that someone might have worse day and have only 5 "keepers" out of 36 roll, but that doesn't mean that someone else can just say some (excuse me my language) crap like the other said... i just believe that you should give people all the respect they deserve to be given... anyway keep shooting good stuff...

best regards. greg
