You have a lot of very beautiful, creative, and original photos. After reading your bio, the fact that you have not been into photography for very long surprised me. You have a very good eye for great photos. Thanks for posting

Ronn,

You have some very impressive work, are you sure you're a beginner? :-)

I really like your landscapes and wildlife shots, you present a nice slice of Alaska. I have enjoyed browsing your portfolio. Best wishes and keep the great images coming!

Best regards, Tammy

Ronn i throughly understand feeling as if life is a tornado..shaking you all around and not always leaving you where you were...hope the 'ride' has settled for a while..glad to 'see' you ...

no, my dog killed the power shot knocking it out of my hand ....i have a ...panasonic lumix...we are still getting to know each other...but i have made a few good shots with it...

LK Hill , June 04, 2008; 10:36 A.M.

hey Ron...glad the tornado ride is over..!!! and i AM SO jealous..you got paid to take pictures...!!!! that IS awesome!!!!!! i mean to get paid having fun,,,wow..!!

and if you can take great bird shots like you have with a broke camera..well then you are a true photographer....not just a picture taker like me!!!! i am more jealous now...lol....

my new camera is a panasonic lumix LZ7......its redeeming feature was it was on sale... i think i really liked my little canyon power shot 460 better....but the lumix does have more to it..just seems a little more contrary sometimes... i will be trying to focus it, it say ok its focused..but i can see its not on the screen and i keep trying to focus but will take many attempts to get it to do right...then other times it takes the most awesome pics without really trying....

i too wonder what would have happened if i had gotten a digital camera a long time ago in a far far away...oh wait i am wandering ...lol...the main thing is i wouldnt have ALL this film from over the years that needs to be developed...lol...

keep on shooting!!!!

Fantastic!

I was impressed when I saw your website a couple of months ago. I am amazed how much you have been able to make it even better since then. Your ability to take fabulous photos no matter what the subject matter and keep them coming is simply outstanding! Can't wait to see what appears next

Great

Wonderful portfolio! I am impressed with your photographic eye and composition that is years ahead of a beginning photographer. I have you marked as an interesting person and I will be following your professional career. Thank you for your comment on my portfolio, it is really appreciated.

i am lucky Ron we have a wonderful butterfly exhibit at the memphis zoo... i will spend alot of time in there when go to zoo alone...kids get too impatient...trying to catch the right shot... ;-) lol and with the new digital age i can take as many pictures as i want... and to think i was scared of the dig camera at first...

LK Hill , November 28, 2008; 03:55 P.M.

hey ron!!! happy turkey day...a day late...lol...i havent been on the site as much as i would like either...SO GREAT you get to pursue your passion for photography with your career!!! i am so jealous.. ;-) for me the"'story telling" is so fun!! i was looking over your shots again and am glad i did i really see the merits of a good crop job.... one of my problems is i want it all foreground background subject.....i keep wanting my pictures to be like what my eye sees....but a good picture can be simple....attention to the subject..thanks for helping me improve every time i come here..!!!
