Great collection of shots Chris. Much more to these than the 2 dimensions we see on the screen - I'd definitely say you're making art. I jackarood on some sheep and cattle stations in northern NSW and Queensland back in the early 80's - your farm shots bring those memories rushing back - thanks for that. Best, Jeremy

Diversified portfolio.
You have a very nice diversified portfolio of images. I enjoyed the "peek" into your life in Australia. I have noticed several of your images since I recently joined PN and I'm sorry I didn't come look thru here sooner as I was missing some wonderful pictures. You have an eye for a grahic composition that really works and you capture good detail. I'd like to see someone "downunder" do portraits of the Abo's.

Very nice shots there, mate. Reminds me of my time in central NSW - Gilgandra area. Where are these shots from?

Your work is excellent. Your portraits and group portraits say a lot about the people, and even better, let the people in them say a lot about themselves. And needless to say, those portraits say a lot about you as a photographer.
Your photographs of the Australian environment and of farms (both the interior and the exterior shots) convey a sense of time and place, both past and present.
Your color work is excellent, and I like your b&w work as well. I would actually like to see more black and white from you, to better convey the starkness of a lot of your environment.
As I said earlier...excellent work. Although you may live in a remote, and sometimes harsh, location, I envy you for the opportunities it affords you to make photographs like these.
Best Regards - Jim - Studio 1311

Chris, the way you depict day-to-day life in rural Australia is excellent. You have a good eye for light and texture, and the way you capture portraits really shows the characters of the people you photograph. I enjoyed looking through your photos!

Chris, you have a really excellent portfolio and you seem to have found something in photography which allows you to creatively and artfully express your attitude towards life. Your pictures of sheep farming and the outback and it's cast of characters are direct, honest and superbly rendered. You really have a natural feeling for the medium. Best Regards, Jack

Love it
Chris. You capture what you see and your eye is very creative. I do not see a lot of post-shot manipulation - just very excellent photography. We see a lot of grandiose 'art', on P.N, something that I could never hope achieve. but with an eye for seeing the world and a camera, we can share part of the world that many would just walk right by. It is there and you bring it to us.. thanks.

Dear Chris, I have just had a long, interested look at your portfolio and have been much impressed by your technique as a photographer, but also by the deep humanity and empathy for people that shines through your work. You have a great way with people. I live in a small country, France, and I have been very much impressed by your photographs of Australia. It looks so huge and endless! Best Regards, Laurent.

Hello Friend!
Well here it is another year is passing away and we are coming into the holidays. I think time starts to go faster as we get older, it was just yesterday I wished my friends Happy Holidays and here it is again the end of a year. The holiday lights are starting to be put on some of the trees here in Dallas, we were out last night and some were lighting the trees. I wish for you all a holiday season with family and friends, after all is said and done all we have is each other.
I want all of you to know just what your comments and ratings on my work means to me, your words are my motivation, my drive to discover, to learn this art that we all love, thank you for taking time and thank you for caring about my works. At the same time thank you for letting us see your world, our lives are so much the same, we all care about our families and friends and we all share the same things, maybe someday our photos will help make for a lasting world peace. May you and your family be blessed this season.
Happy Holidays and Happy Shooting
