Photography is a journey that begins when a person is exposed to a camera for the first time. Now that you have started and you here?Begin a journey. For you?re in the best stage of the love affair with photography. The initial moment when you learn and experiment is the best phase.
Make time to experiment with it. Initially, discover its beauty in your own way, at your own pace instead of learning it the professional way. Begin by clicking photographs in random at whatever appeals to you. Nature, Rain, Vehicles, People? To learn how to swim you have dive into water.
The moment a photographer begins to grow; he realizes that he has become more aware of life around him in general.
Changing light, Nature, Seasons become more visible?..
Welcome and enjoy your stay here

It has been a nice experience going through your portfolio (got here through Atanu's). I like your sepia, monotones and the one on smoke patterns the best. You say you started clicking in 2006, but having seen your work, I think you'll carry on for quite a while now. I am a beginner as well and there is a lot to learn from this site. For the moment, happy clicking. Wishes.

Hello Friend!
Well here it is another year is passing away and we are coming into the holidays. I think time starts to go faster as we get older, it was just yesterday I wished my friends Happy Holidays and here it is again the end of a year. The holiday lights are starting to be put on some of the trees here in Dallas, we were out last night and some were lighting the trees. I wish for you all a holiday season with family and friends, after all is said and done all we have is each other.
I want all of you to know just what your comments and ratings on my work means to me, your words are my motivation, my drive to discover, to learn this art that we all love, thank you for taking time and thank you for caring about my works. At the same time thank you for letting us see your world, our lives are so much the same, we all care about our families and friends and we all share the same things, maybe someday our photos will help make for a lasting world peace. May you and your family be blessed this season.
Happy Holidays and Happy Shooting

hi...
had a tour of your portfolio. you have all the makings of a good photographer -- a great eye, your composition, framing, positioning of the focal interest its all there. I especially love to see that you are prepared to learn this art the hard way, i.e without tweaking things in PS. I dont call that stuff photography, its digital art at best.
Now some gratuitous advice. Stop keeping the camera on auto pilot. Most of your landscapes and wilflife, despite being very good captures fail to catch the eye just because theres hardly any play of light and shade. Start taking shots on manual mode, fiddle around with the aperture and shutter speed, youll see the difference. The shots in the smoke, monochrome and sepia album are steps in the right direction. Keep going.
