Greetings, Steve. My only non-anonymous rating so far! Thanks for taking a peek at the big nasty ant shot. I'm really surprised that you (and those others) ranked it so high, but now that I've read some of the ratings rants, I see that it is because I Photoshopped it to death to salvage it that it warranted any rating at all. :) From now on, it's all low-contrast B&W. Right....

i really enjoyed your macro shots....for me that is a fun way to spend the day...i am sure you had to have alot of patience to cature those shots...

Thanks LK, to me it's a fun way to spend the day also. A walk in the woods with my grand kids and my camera, it doesn't get any better.

Hello Steve, Just rated your street photo and had to take a look at your portfolio. Great variety of different kinds of images. You seem to be good in many fields from macro to portraits, landscape and street photography. The last category is what interests me most. Very nice colors, good composition and much humour. But I liked it all, lots of beautiful stuff here.

Steve, you really capture people nicely. I don't do much people photography, although I would like to start. Yours will be a portfolio I study before I begin.

Steve; Congratulations on a great Portfolio. You have very good images in the Insects panel. I do like the Turkey better though. His colors are so vivid. Keep up the walks with your family. Give all of us MORE images.

Steve Your portfolio is great. You have a keen eye and know when to take a shot. If I can add my hunble opinion with the portraits (this happens to me too):

I find that if you interact with the subject , you will get a more forceful, intense portrait that speak volumes. I know its not easy going up to somebody whos down and out and striking up a conversation, but you will be surprised how many respond in a positive way.

Photos where the sitter acknolwledges you , and sometimes looks at the camera are incomporable....

Your street photography is very well mastered, some works here are masterpieces, a great eye really. i like your B&W processing and tonal quality. Keep posting please. Regards
