thanks

thanks you for the comment, the spiral staircase worked well for that session, you have a very large collection of great photos.

Tim Bowles , January 27, 2006; 07:31 P.M.

Thanks for your great comments- they are much appreciated. I think your landscapes are fantastic- great eye for composition. I feel like a bit of an outcast with my love for slide film in a forum that seems to be all digital (although you wouldn't know it, as all my posts so far have been digital- the slide scanner should arrive next week!). Keep the dream alive and keep shooting slide! Thanks again.

Andre Easter , February 02, 2006; 12:04 P.M.

Tim, your color work is great but throw it all away. You could maintain the reputation as a first-rate fine art photographer on the strength of your black and white photographs alone. I mean it Tim; your work with a Seagull (!) puts the rest of us to shame. And I thought that I was the only person here who even admitted to owning a Seagull.

I am so enthused to see the fine work of photographers like you. People of your artistic caliber is the reason I post my humble contributions here, so that I may learn by observing the works of genuine artists.

Dancing Dove , March 01, 2006; 06:39 P.M.

Tim, It has been a joy to look through your portfolio. You have a great eye in capturing patterns. My favorite though is your portrait work of children. Best Regards, d.d.

Robert Woodward , March 19, 2006; 11:46 A.M.

Tim- I love your B&W's especially. They have a quality that is outstanding. Nice & contrasty & beautiful in composition. I love to look at them. So.... interesting! :) Keep up the good work!

Rui Nogueira , March 24, 2006; 07:50 P.M.

Tim, You rated my recent picture 6/6. This means a lot to me. After all it comes from someone who has so many years of experience in photography. I'd like to thank you for taking a time to rate my photo. Eddie

Thanks

Hey Tim, thanks for your encouraging comment. I'd like to make a living out of photography and it's comments like that which give me a needed boost in confidence to go after my dream. By the way, I love your B&W folder. There are some trurly wonderful images there. As I'm sure you've noticed I pretty much only shoot B&W. I've uploaded some new work and I'd appreciate your input of course.

Hi Tim. Thanks for your kind words, it's always very encouraging to have such nice feedback coming from a serious photographer, as yourself. I must say I'm truly impressed by your b/w work and also enjoyed a lot of your colour images (the New York file is great). Best regards my friend and thanks for sharing such a wonderful view of your world.

Ciao Tim! thanks for you comment on my porfolio. I have seen you photos and I have appreciated in paricular way your...European taste in image! I find your taste are very...not superficial and you are not trying...for the EFFECT!...but for the particular, and this is much European. Yes, I know, it's a problem of mine, but I don't like the American taste and style of live (...now commanding in the world...) that I know (...I have some friend in USA...). Ciao, see you soon Tim, Maurizio.

Paolo Barthelemy , April 12, 2007; 04:18 A.M.

Tim

Thanks for stopping by my portfolio. I appreciate the compliments, but I'm really moved by your faith that the best is yet to come. I hope so. I am incredibly impressed by your work. Just an amazing collection with such a honed vision and obvious skill. In particular, your port serves as a "how-to" book on B&W photos, an area in which I struggle. Inspiring!

Tim Bowles , November 23, 2008; 03:02 P.M.

Hey Tim-

Still preferring your B&W stuff. Some good drama there.

Tim Everett , December 23, 2008; 07:13 P.M.

Dear Tim, thaks a lot for your comment on my portfolio and now, thanks also for the opportunity of knowing you and your very nice job. Vladimir Funtak , March 10, 2009; 11:45 P.M.

You paint the world around you with so much easiness yet not superficially. There is an elegance in your approach. You just keep artistic distance from your objects thus creating authentic style. A lot to learn from you. Best regards, vf

Drew Bayless , May 28, 2009; 12:14 P.M.

Hi Tim!

Its very great opportunity for me visit your beautiful captures in this site and also your blog, with very inspirational and masterful pictures. I didn't find your iran pictures, but your collection on your blog was amazing. Thank you very much for your kind respect and warm words. I wish i'll be your host in IRAN someday, specially after rescuing freedom in our country....
My best regards. Hamid.

Tim Everett , October 17, 2010; 02:16 P.M.

Hi Hamid, Thanks for your kind words, I would love to visit Tehran again and do some photography there, when I was there even during the onset of the revolution, I found the people very hospitable, a great Land and great People. My Iran pics can be found in the post called 'From a previous Life' - travels with my kodak instamatic, it was long before I took up photography seriously, hence the title and the camera. Many Thanks, Kind Regards. Tim.
