I thank you for your feedback. I am just starting with Corel and have been trying different things with it. I like the effect of an impressionist but I know that it could have been done a lot better. I think that your drawings are amazing btw.

Thanks for your comment on my Lilly shot. I agree that your modification of the photo is very interesting and pleasing to the eye, however, I prefer to shoot them in as close to their natural position as possible. The rendition that you sent back to me depicts the stamen and pislils in the verticle position, again it is an interesting concept, but these flowers were not designed to face upwards for very long, as they would fill up with rainwater and break off at the stem. Clever engineering on the part of the original designer.

I do appreciate your incite and imagination. I spent quite a bit of time looking at your portfolio, and found it to be very pleasing to the eye as well. The poppy fields are exquisite. Screaming reds can be so hard to get correct color saturation. You have done well. I also visited your website, and I thoroughly enjoyed both your photos and paintings.

I like the naturalness of your photographs, you appear to have shunned the use of modern enhancement methods.

The poppies are some of the best photographs I have seen of this subject, I have spent time in France trying to capture these flowers but have been unable to match your work in terms of intensity of colour.I will return to your p/folio frequently.

I liked your folder on Corsica, I spent a summer as a young man there travelling around staying on some of the wonderful beaches. Hello Friend!

Well here it is another year is passing away and we are coming into the holidays. I think time starts to go faster as we get older, it was just yesterday I wished my friends Happy Holidays and here it is again the end of a year. The holiday lights are starting to be put on some of the trees here in Dallas, we were out last night and some were lighting the trees. I wish for you all a holiday season with family and friends, after all is said and done all we have is each other.

I want all of you to know just what your comments and ratings on my work means to me, your words are my motivation, my drive to discover, to learn this art that we all love, thank you for taking time and thank you for caring about my works. At the same time thank you for letting us see your world, our lives are so much the same, we all care about our families and friends and we all share the same things, maybe someday our photos will help make for a lasting world peace. Thanks for comments on my work. I appreciate any suggestions. The Dogwood branch and background are two seperate shots; taken the same time within a few seconds and few meters from each other. I just liked the background on this one better. In the other shot, I added the light effect trying to draw attention in that direction.
