Ciao Luca, Bell'lavoro. Like especially our Indian and picture of people. Just commented your image of the bus/truck full of people, the other day. Looked like it was going to collapse, at any moment. Auguri Peter

Hi Luca,

First of all thank you for commenting on one of my shots which gave me the opportunity to discover your portfolio. I like the wide scope of subjects covered here with a personal preference for the shots you made in India. Very well done indeed, looking forward to seeing more.

Hi Luca,

I had a long look to your portfolio, for sure you know I like your B&W shots but I really enjoyed the colour ones. India and Irish sections are full of beautiful imagines, you have a great taste for simple things my dear Luca. Congratulations! Diego

P.S. Ireland is God's country ;-)

Luca:

I've just taken a quick tour through your portfolio. Even just a cursory glance has allowed me to see not only the diversity of your work, but also the creativity, talent, and technical expertise that your work embodies. I plan on returning when time allows to browse more intently. For the moment, this will have to do: Bravissimo!!

There's a harmony to your work that's worth studying. (May I say "interesting"?)

I'll revisit and leave comments on individual pictures that taught me something or that otherwise strike me.

Kind regards, Matthijs.

Hi Luca , Thank you very much for your detailed comment on one of my photos"Qashqai Girl".I really appreciate all comments and suggestions. The bluish tone is maybe of scanning but in my monitor which is apple cinema display I cant see it.I took this picture with Hasselblad and the film was Fuji Velvia and normally Fuji has a little bit yellowish tone .Regarding your portfolio I really enjoyed my time and found a lot of interesting and excellent shots. With the best regards Sadegh

Greetings and a a question

Hi Luca! I reckon my question should maybe be adderessed by ordinary email, but since it might interest some others PN members I decided to post it here. Do not hesistate to remove it if you find it off-topic. I have seen that a good deal of your pictures, and some very good ones indeed, have been taken with a panasonic lx-3. As I was about to purchase it, and since as we said before we share a lot of attitude concerning photo, I wanted to know your opinion about that camera. thanks in advance and further compliments for your pictures! Marco

Luca Sbordone , February 15, 2010; 06:05 A.M.

Hi Marco,

I really like my LX3. It is quite small, has a very, very good, fast lens which goes wide. It is responsive and very well built, I find the ergonomics very good for such a small thing. It does not get in the way, and any needed control is easily found. The lens does not go far on the tele side, but for my style of street shooting this is not an issue. Of course it is not a DSLR, no optical viewfinder, slower, higher noise... but you know this already. I surely recommend it!
