Excellent! In 1978 I was able to visit Gdansk, remember the red rood in the tower very well. Lost all my photos of that trip when someone stole them. Your images bring back many great memories. Including a Lodi shop just down the street... Gendobri!

Bar, i want to do the suggestion to seperate your folder into different. You have great photo's but the folder is too crowded and does not justice to your work.

Bartek, Your images are beautiful. You refer to your IR images as digital manipulations - does this mean you apply the IR effect in PS? Or are they captured using IR film, filters, or a setting on a digital camera? I've tried to get this effect from PS using a combination of filters etc... but I've failed miserably! Please advise and thanks, Serge

The rude comment should not stop you from uploading. I am sure you tell the truth about the absence of manipulation in most of your images. I like many of them as they are now and I think that if you manipulate them you could make them even better! :-)

Bartek, your photos are very impressive and romantic. I love scenes like these on my travels. Your portfolio reminds me those beautiful moments, which were like Angel's touch. It is also an inspiration to visit Poland. I must admit that I also thought that the photos are manipulated. But now I read your comment and I trust you (I also know that Poland is land of Cavaliers). (maybe it would be best to state it in photo's info).

That's a nonsense IMHO! I would never call that "better", I wouldn't like it. If you went for manipulation you would poison a lot of your beautiful photos. Never go for manipulation! I think that main mission of landscape photography is to show beauty of the nature to other people, until it's still available. To love it, to protect it. Not to create new artifical worlds in digital/pixels. If you want warmer photo and you wait for sunset, it will be a beautiful photo. If you use filter for this effect, it will NEVER be natural. There will always be some forgotten detail. Nature is inimitable.

Thanks for comments. I get that colours because I am used to long time exposure very often.The most i use ND grad filters and cirpol, sometimes orange ,blue grad but orange and blue seldom in last time. Hello Friend!

Well here it is another year is passing away and we are coming into the holidays. I think time starts to go faster as we get older, it was just yesterday I wished my friends Happy Holidays and here it is again the end of a year. The holiday lights are starting to be put on some of the trees here in Dallas, we were out last night and some were lighting the trees. I wish for you all a holiday season with family and friends, after all is said and done all we have is each other.

I want all of you to know just what your comments and ratings on my work means to me, your words are my motivation, my drive to discover, to learn this art that we all love, thank you for taking time and thank you for caring about my works. At the same time thank you for letting us see your world, our lives are so much the same, we all care about our families and friends and we all share the same things, maybe someday our photos will help make for a lasting world peace. I was drawn to your portfolio by way of the "daily sampling" images. The offering of the castle through the trees mesmerized me. Your other work is equally as effective. I find I can get lost in your photos. That is a gift worth sharing and learning from.

I really liked the way you express yourself (except the digital ir alterations, which I find "plastic"). Slightly saturated colours, peaceful views, good overall balance...Very nice work.
