I love your Polaroid Sabattiered images. I've been scanning the emulsion side of 667 film with mixed results. Sometimes they have a solarized look with normal development.

Glad I found your portfolio. It is quite amazing and marvelously well done. For what it's worth, I intend to come back when I have a bit more time, and give it a lot more scrutiny. I am not trying to publicize my own meagre attempts, but since we both appear to be Weston fans, you might find the following amusing: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=10007781
Edward Weston is sublime. I have taken seminars from the late Cole Weston, and have even met and interviewed Charis Wilson, but, alas, that is as close as I have gotten to the master. Thanks for the tour. Regards

Mr Beepy, I have just enjoyed perusing your portfolio. You have a nice versatility but are quite good with expressive portraits and working with models to achieve a goal. Very cool. Portfolios like yours are very encouraging to me to break out of rigid "familiar" themes :) Thank you for posting these images here. Cheers.

"?beepy" fits perfectly to what you are doing to viewers like me. It start by a question mark that is never answered and ends by a indefinable sound...
Looking through your fantastic portfolio one is simply overwhelmed by your continuous force of expression that comes in series of photos that often cannot stand alone. A question like: Which photo is better than others ? simply cannot be answered because they function together.
I think actually that you are a filmmaker that tries to express a movie sequence by series of individual photos.
All very well done and very impressive. Thanks for sharing.

Fantastic creativity and innovation, but how did you get up to 45000ft with a camera?
Beepy .
, April 25, 2007; 11:38 A.M.
Hmmmmm... 45,000 ft in a private jet which had crystal clear new windows. We were sort of chasing the sunset flying Northwest over the Amazon basin returning to the USA. I got lost in shooting. I had been down in Rio de Janeiro shooting Carnaval.

Beepy, thanks for the comment on my portfolio. I think your work is very strong. Your work with the Holga is the most intriguing and I'd like to see more of that. Your style also suggests that you might enjoy some infrared film too. You may want to try it out! Hope that helps.

It's just not right I tell you! I was just going off to bed when I came across your work! I'm too tired tonight so I'll have to come back and give it the time it deserves. I have to say though, looking at it very quickly, some very amazing and wonderful work. A broad spectrum of style and content. There are many images that I find myself attracted to. I am just beginning to explore studio/portrait work after years of being out in the field. Feel free to visit my site if you wish. In the meantime, I'll have to repeat myself, some very wonderful work that's worth the time to come back, study and let it sink in. I'll be happy to comment on individual pieces as I don't believe in ratings much. Great work, Beepy, I look forward to coming back and I look forward to more work from you. Continued success...

question as to how you go about getting props? AND the "tue reflection" how did you do that? is that real reflections of photoshop? tips? tricks?

Beepy .

Props and reflection
Props - ah. I spend a lot of time in vintage clothing stores. I have a huge collection of dresses - many from the 20's and 30's. Kinda puts me in a mood. Other props. Always always always on the lookout. Buffalo skull from vacation in New Mexico, large black bowl hidden under table in Asian furniture place closing down (cheap). Go to lots of antique stores looking for things - the porcelain glove molds. Home Depot's Expo store - the sheepskin rug. Irrigation pipe at a friend's house... Always acquiring things.
The reflection shot from the Tuesday folder. Shot the reflection in water - I lined a wooden soaking tub with a black backdrop - model was wearing black dress - the water surface becomes mirror like. I did burn and increase contrast in Photoshop to punch up the reflection (it is dinner than the woman's image). But yes, it is a true reflection.
Feather in some shots - ripped off a Carnival costume. Etc.

Hello Friend!
Well here it is another year is passing away and we are coming into the holidays. I think time starts to go faster as we get older, it was just yesterday I wished my friends Happy Holidays and here it is again the end of a year. The holiday lights are starting to be put on some of the trees here in Dallas, we were out last night and some were lighting the trees. I wish for you all a holiday season with family and friends, after all is said and done all we have is each other.
I want all of you to know just what your comments and ratings on my work means to me, your words are my motivation, my drive to discover, to learn this art that we all love, thank you for taking time and thank you for caring about my works. At the same time thank you for letting us see your world, our lives are so much the same, we all care about our families and friends and we all share the same things, maybe someday our photos will help make for a lasting world peace. May you and your family be blessed this season.
Happy Holidays and Happy Shooting

Hey B, thank you for visiting my work. You have a great body of work here. Your technical skill is only matched by your creative force, working seamlessly together to present a portfolio any photographer would envy. Body language speaks so much more than words ever could, you convey your model's/subject's, thoughts/feelings/emotions well no matter what the element of their surroundings. The props are not distracting, to me they are barely noticeable. While all within each frame remains in focus, it is those thoughts, feelings and emotions that remain the noticeable and constant theme. well done
