William

After your very kind comment on my Henry Ford Museum photo I thought I would take the time to examine in detail your portfolio. What a gigantic presentation mind blowing excellence. From the Batmobile to sunsets and dogs to Corvettes not to mention Ireland it is priceless. No kidding, I am speechless, your work is superb. I will be back again and again.

Jesse Hayes , January 24, 2008; 09:07 P.M.

I had a good look through your portfolio, you have a very wide range. I do have some constructive advice as per your request, whether it is to be taken or not is completely up to you mate. It's obvious that you are a fan of photoshop, but it would seem that you use it as the primary outlet for your creativity rather than when the image is being taken. I would spend more time perfecting the capture, as it will always remain the blueprint for what changes you make later via software.

Paul Coren , January 25, 2008; 12:50 P.M.

great color

You have a terrific eye for color, and a fine imagination.

Thx,

Paul

Thank you for your comment on my photo and your appreciation to my photos in my portfolio. I enjoyed likewise browsing through images in your gallery. A lot of interesting photos, car pictures are very great and nice cityscapes. An impeccable gallery indeed. - Lester

Len Marriott , February 20, 2008; 07:47 P.M.

Glad I did !

William, Just responding to your invite to view your portfolio. Glad I did. You demonstrate a varied approach and a high level of PS skill. I particularly like the car detail shots. They fit into my view that, at car shows, details are the best way to get max. return on your efforts because it is too difficult to control the usually cluttered background found there. Happy snapping! Best, LM.

A Arman , February 23, 2008; 07:06 P.M.

Hi William

I really enjoyed your all photographs William,so rich,so wonderfull, and the way how you see world... For focus/blur technique I mostly used picasa program(free program from google, easy to use)..But as a matter of fact ;My cousines gave me lensbaby at christmas ;couldn't still have time to try them but looking forward to test hem soon..Are you using lensbaby ? do you have tricks, tips how to use thme or have effects ? Thanks Sincerely Afsar

Andrew McIntosh , March 29, 2008; 11:38 A.M.

You have very vibrant colors throughout your portfolio. Nice and saturated. My only suggestion would be about your black and white. It's very focused on texture and deep perspective. Now these are classic elements that black and white helps excenetuate, but try converting some of your other photography. I think you'll be very happy with black and white's ability to simplify a photographs message, and limit what could distract from your main subject.

TM Cleland , April 04, 2008; 07:48 P.M.

Loud and Fast! Things New York City, Corvettes, and Steve Vai all have in common!

I'm enjoying your portfolio very much. Very unique, original perspectives, exiting composition and explosive color! Can't wait to see more!

Thank you for your comments as well and to answer your question: Yes, the double exposures are almost always hand held; it's more spontaneous, plus I have a tendency to forget my tripod!

Cheers! Keep up the amazing work!

Martyn Fox , April 14, 2008; 01:40 A.M.

Wow, many outstanding images, in particular your car images, i also like your use of the fisheye lens. The one inside the Mini(i think) with the dog on the passengers lap is a favourite. Good work.

Kind regards Martyn

I like your cars and landscapes, you have a very impressive portfolio.

Gianluca Bottecchia , April 23, 2008; 07:20 A.M.

hi william, thanks for your visit. WOW!...your it's not a portfolio, it's an archive of state :), I like it very much: from the kind of subdivision, to the different styles presents. my favourite are the "newport" photo and the "roosvelt"(like the ruines of hospital), but also I like the dynamism of "cars". I want to spend a particulary mention to the "reportage photo" taked on the street. It's a kind of photo that I like, above all aren't simple to take. these are only my simples opinions :) excuse me for bad english, best regards

William,

I have enjoyed your great portfolio. I must say "Hotrodica" is the best name for a folder I've seen in a while! Beautiful color and view. I liked your Lensbabies shots a great deal. I have never "focused" on cars as a subject, except as old decrepit vehicles, but I can appreciate great images of these nice shiny machines, too. Well done!

Best regards, Tammy

Niagra Falls

Sir, Number 1, absolutely great images.

Really like the cars and old days.

Number 2, the wife and I plan to visit Niagra Falls next year thinking about Sept/Oct time frame. Also heard the Canadian side is better?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Cheers, Matthijs

Great point of view

William,

I love how your images reflect your enthusiasm. Your images are strong and possess vitality. I'm not sure what some people try to accomplish through low ratings, other than some type of artificial power. The true power is in your vision and photography. Super work.

William Storoniak , January 04, 2009; 09:28 A.M.

Thank you to all!

I would like to thank EVERYONE who rated and commented on my photographs. Without the encouragement AND discouragement I've received, I would've never progressed. I look at the pictures I've posted from the very beginning, and the ones I show now, and the difference is amazing. I've grown emotionally as well, and developed the courage to show my work publically also. I've been in many exhibitions, galleries and contests this year, and I feel I've done well as a rookie. I owe all of this success to the Photo.net community. God bless you all! William
