Contratulations

You have a great portfolio.

I always wanted a Hasselblad. So, always is a pleasure looking good work done using one of them.

Regards,

Luis

Hello Jim, Just enjoyed looking through your portfolio, for me film is the master subject in photography, you just can look and correct as you go. I enjoyed reading your biography. I would love a Hasselblatt but its a bit expensive at the moment. I started with digital EOS and have just purchased a serious of film bodies on ebay. A used EOS 1V, but also a Nikon FM2 as its manual and macanical, I also spend a lot of my time in manual mode. Look forward to seeing your Large Format negatives later. Regards Carl

Thanks for your comments...

Hi Jim,

I do appreciate that my portrait got your attention... and sorry to say yes, indeed it is a full frame digital piece... I do still have film, but use it less and less.... today's pace is manic regarding free lance work. My lens cap is off to those of you still toiling away in the dark room and fiddling with print densities and chemical temps... that's how I grew up.

You have a portfolio that is stellar, even to the casual observer. You celebrate the art of photography and I will observe in your work, masterful gradients in a dynamic range that digital still cannot achieve...

Real photos must be seen in the flesh... to be adequately appreciated. But we have photo net and can at least imagine what the original piece looks like.

a pleasure!
