Have just had the full tour of your portfolio. Found some really nice flowers spread through out . I think the black back ground works really well on some of your work but not as often as you use it , but on saying that , I could be talking more about my taste than on your over useing the black background. Anyway Gregory there is some very nice work here.

I rarely get a chance to take a look at these comments, but I am very appreciative of all those who took the time to look and to leave a note. To anyone who cares, I like the black background because it seems to allow one to concentrate on the flower without distraction. I am photographing flowers, not their surroundings - nothing against this - but I leave it to others.

Macro lens
Looking at your photos using the macro lens let me appreciate the details that I always look for and that are not always available for a naked eye.

You are a frequent poster and your flower shots are usually pretty good. I notice that you receive few comments; I myself do not comment or rate based on your own activity. I am just curious why you do not rate or participate in commenting on others photos?

Your passion for flowers is beyond perfume and sweetness and I admire you for that and the colours you see in birds is an insatiable joy and I am with you... on the same wavelenght. The n~ numbers of pictures I take will then become irrelevant as long as it gives pleasure.
