I think you are in the high place of numbers one about landscaping picture. A beautiful portfolio

As i said before i really like your stile.I think that i like the sense of depth in your concept of photography...this is something not so easely achieved for me. Always when i put my finger on the button or trying to decide on what to include and what to let out of that pic it helps to remember your photos as a point of refference. I see we share a lot of the same attractions; simplicity, graphic composition, and minimalist design. I'm curious do you live in the West? If so, I think we might enjoy a good landscape road trip to the desert or mountains?

What appeals to me most about your portfolio are some of the same things that drew me into photography and away from painting and sculpture. The timeless view, the classic snow-scape, and abstract design throught the use of monochromatic colored light and black shadow. I am reminded of the work of well known commercial photographer Pete Turner, who shares my last name and undergraduate photo education. Look him up, he's a bit dated now but was very cutting edge in the 1970's. Worth having a look at at the very least. I always enjoy your work especially the images like wild wild west 3 or Pyramid Lake Nevada. These images are the archtypes of design elements. Keep up the good work. I think you gave me a great idea for a self-assigned photo shoot. That is to photographically illustrate the elements of; earth, air, fire, and water. Going to give it a go.

I like the comments in your bio; I've come to disregard the rating system completely. No matter what I post there's always at least one 3/3 rating - which appears almost immediately after I post. Strange.

I hope you will bring back some of your other beautiful landscapes. One of the very first photos I ever commented on at this site was a gorgeous B&W landscape of yours with a fantastic sky. You have a distinctive style that it is much appreciated by the people who matter here, the ones who know how to look. Don't be irritated by the silly ratings -- just post to "critique only" along with many of us others.
